Belladonna Le Faye steps off the plane in Quantico, Virginia and quickly makes her way to baggage claim. She grabs a rolling cart soon after pulling her trunk off the conveyor belt and waits for her suitcase to appear. She grabs that quickly as well and makes her way through the airport to the entrance where her new guardian said he would be waiting for her.

She stands on her tip-toes scanning the crowd for any sign of the somewhat familiar face. Having a photographic memory is very nice, most of the time. She finally spots a sign with her former name on it and makes her way over to it. "Hello, Mr. Hotchner."

"Hyacinth," he responds politely, hugging her. "This is my son, Jack." He indicates the toddler next to him.

"Hello, Jack. It is very nice to meet you."

"You've certainly grown since I last saw you. A new born back then." He loads her trunk into his car. She places her suitcase on top of it as Jack gets in.

They both climb into the car and buckle up. After making sure that Jack is properly buckled into his seat. Aaron pulls into traffic.

"So everything in order for school?"

"Yes, sir."

"Very good. Do you... Jack, stop that. We can't risk anyone seeing you." Belladonna glances over her shoulder to see little Jack conjuring small balls of light. Hotchner glances over at her. "You can't tell anyone what you are seeing."

"Wouldn't dream of it," she waves her hand and the balls die down to just one in a plastic ball as the glow inside changes colors. "There we go. My parents always thought you to be a muggle."

"Muggle?"

"British Wizarding term for a Nomag or a human."

"Oh, no, just a rather long line of squibs. Is that why they never did magic in front of me?"

"Yeah, pretty much."

Aaron sighs, "Jack is the first wizard in ten generations and I'm worried. I took him for a blood test at Gringotts after an auror showed up explaining things to me. Though my family is of Wizarding descent, his mother's family is... muggle. And the auror says he shows signs of being a necromancer, conversing with his dead mother."

"So you're worried about him revealing the Wizarding World to your in-laws?"

"Yes."

"Well there isn't much you can do right now. He is only four, he is going to do accidental magic."

"So the auror said." Mr. Hotchner says, sighing in defeat.

"He'll learn to control it eventually, I did. Of course, I had a bigger motivator. It just takes a little time." She peers back to the child again. "Just be glad America doesn't have any laws against underage magic. Just about being seen by Muggles. So I can use my own magic to help him learn to control his."

"You can't just... block it for a while." He glances at her and stiffens.

"Never ever suggest something like that to me or in front of me again. No, I will not. I had my magic blocked by a lemon drop sucking, stealing, lying, manipulative, old fool that I trusted! I, however, may have something in one of my vaults that will help him control it but not truely block it."

"So we need to go to Gringotts?"

"In a few days, yes. They are currently working on sorting through my vaults and transferring them from Britain to America, considering I do not wish to apparate overseas everytime I want to access one of my vaults."

"Okay, on a different note. I asked at the front desk if a Hyacinth Potter was on the flight from Britain, because I was there to pick her up with my toddler son and did not wish to wait at the airport if you were on a later flight. She could not find anyone under that name for even booking a flight from Britain."

"That would be because I got my name legally changed. My name is now Belladonna Rowena Le Faye."

"Kept the flower theme from your mother's family?"

"Yes, and though it isn't one of my parents, it is still my ancestor on my mother's side for my dad's family tradition. Rowena Ravenclaw."

They pull onto the driveway of Hotchner's house. Belladonna helps Jack get out of the car, before walking to the back of the car where Aaron is waiting. She grabs her suitcase and sets it on the ground before looking around for any muggles and discretely casting a featherlight charm on her trunk. Mr. Hotchner picks it up with no problems and they make their way inside.

They make it just inside the entryway when Aaron's phone goes off. He gives Belladonna an 'I'm sorry' look after looking at the caller ID. "Hotchner... let me deal with a few things and I'll meet you at the airport... yes, see you soon." He turns back to Belladonna. "Jess's number is on the kitchen counter. If you need anything call her."

Belladonna nods, heading to the kitchen to give him some time alone to say good-bye to his son. She finds the note on the counter and dials the number.

"Jessica Brooks. May I ask who is calling?"

"Hello, Ms. Brooks. This is Belladonna Le Faye formerly Hyacinth Potter."

"Oh, the young lady moving in with Aaron and Jack. Why are you calling? Is something wrong?"

"No, nothing is wrong. I just wanted to call. Make sure you have my number and introduce myself."

"How very polite of you. Perhaps we can get together for girl talk sometime"

"That would be lovely, but after Mr. Hotchner gets back."

"Oh, you're 16, right?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Okay, just call me if you need anything at all."

"Will do. Good-bye. I still need to get settled in."

"Good-bye, and welcome to America."

"Thank you."

The line goes dead and Belladonna heads back to the entryway way to take her trunk and suitcase to her new room. Only to find that they aren't where she left them. "I took your trunk and suitcase to your new room. Jack can show you where it is later. I need to get going. Please look after Jack. Don't let him get hurt. And an auror will be by later today to speak with you as I did not know you are a witch."

Belladonna nods and waves as he leaves. She closes the front door and looks down at Jack after checking the time on her phone. "Come on, little fella. Let's see what's around here for lunch." He smiles and drags her to the kitchen. She looks around and ends up making them both BLTs for lunch.

"Okay, little guy, can you show me my room?" He smiles at her and starts to lead the way when there is a knock on the door.
