“What about you, Sky, Blaise?” Sarah asks.

“Yeah, either of you two interested in a club.”

“There’s a dueling l’m interested in joining.”

“I’m actually interested in both the Potions club and the Trick Flying club.” Sky says. “And since they meet on different days, I can do both. What about you and Charlotte?”

“I’m in the book club.” Sarah says.

“And I’m in the nature club.” Charlotte responds. “We mostly walk through nature, on weekends we may go on a hike, and we also have a yearly bird watching campaign and each week we compare our progress. We also pick up litter when we see it and will go to specific locations as a group to pick up litter there. The club meets on tuesday.”

“Cool, that sounds like fun,” Bella and Sky say together.

“Thanks, a lot of people think its boring.”

“Nope, and since Wednesday is Potions club, and Trick flying is on Thursday. I can do that as well.” Sky says.

“And since Potion Club is on Wednesday, I can join even if I make my house team since that is on Tuesday.” Thomas says.

“I wouldn’t mind walking through nature with Sky. It would be quite peaceful, plus she did get me into bird watching.” Norville says. “So count me in for the Nature club. My house would be on Thursday.”

Just then the bell rings and the group take their trays over to the trashcan by the door. They dump the trash in and then set the tray on the stack of trays. Then they head inside and walk quietly to their next classes. Sarah and Charlotte wave bye to the others as they head into down an adjacent hall. Sarah has charms and Charlotte has Astronomy.

The group of five now reach their classroom and go in. They sit in their usual seats and take out their supplies for the class. Miss. Stealworth arrives a few minutes after the bell rings. "Sorry for the delay, class. I was talking to Miss. Charlene about this afternoons Quidditch tryouts. And I'm sure there are a few of you looking forward to trying out for your house team and/or the school team. But right now is transfiguration time."

She waves her hand at the board and 'Review Day' appears on the board. "Now I realize that this doesn't sound to exciting, but what we will be doing is." She conjures up some pillows. "Trying to do each of the spells we've covered so far from memory. Since transfiguration spells are so magically taxing we will have a review day once every couple of weeks or so. Now then, you can all get started, when you have successfully completed the first spell please raise your hand and I'll come get you set for the next spell."

Class passed by incredibly fast for some people and too slow for others who were struggling with the transfigurations. Bella and Sky were watching the boys struggle on the final spell by the time the class ended. "Alright, just to be on the safe side everybody take a Magic Replenishment potion on their way out. We don't want you to collapse from magic exhaustion in your last class of the day." All the students grab their bags and head out.

Norville walks over to the teacher and asks for a note. Sky stands beside him and explains to the teacher the issue with him taking a magic Replenishment potion as she waves her wand and produces the note. They rejoin the group outside the classroom after Sky takes a potion.

Sky and Bella wave bye to the boys as they head toward their last classes of the day. Sarah and Charlotte join the two a few feet from the Defensive Magic classroom. They step inside to find the desks removed and the chairs along the wall. Remus walks in with a smile on his face.

"Good afternoon, class." He says standing at the front of the room. "Everyone take a seat." All the students go to an empty chair. "Now I hope everyone read what was assigned this weekend. Good. Mr. Thermal, what is the incantation for the spell you read last night?"

A young man with red hair smiles, "Expecto Patronum."

"Very good. Miss. Birchwood, what is the wand motion for the spell?"

A black haired girl smiles. "Trick question. The Patronum charm does not require a specific wand movement. Just be sure of where you are aiming."

"Excellent. Miss. Goldstein, what creatures does this defend against?"

"Dementors and Lethifolds." Charlotte replies.

"Wonderful. Miss. Smith, what else other than the incantation and a wand do you need to successfully perform this spell?"

"A happy memory."

"Correct the happier the memory the more powerful the result. Now, Miss. Spellcast and Miss. Le Faye as you both successfully demonstrated in our first class your patronous, would you both take a turn and show the class how it 8s done. Each of you should do the spell twice once with a slightly happy memory and the second time with an extremely happy memory."

They nod at each other and at the same time cast the charm to produce baby versions of their patronuses. Then Bella takes first her patronus being as big as an acromantula. Then sky produces a fiery Phenix the size of a dragon. They each take a bow and sit down and talk for the rest of class. Bella is ready to go when the bell rings and quickly says bye to her friends and Remus as she heads out the door.
