Friday was a relatively easy day as both students and teachers prepared for the weekend. Only a little homework was assigned and Bella tried out for the school Quidditch team. She was pleasantly surprised when she made opening seeker considering she thought that quite a few of the other students trying out did better than her.

Saturday morning was cloudy and peaceful. Bella choose to go eat breakfast before getting dressed as she didn’t want to get food on whatever outfit she decided to wear for her date with Blaise. Blaise had informed her that he would pick her up at about ten, so they could some time together before lunch then he was taking her to a movie after lunch and then she could pick something to do before dinner.

Bella of course jokingly accused him of trying to spoil her. He simply smiled at her and kissed her cheek, claiming it was hard to spoil someone who had more money than he did and that he just wanted to have a nice day with her. He wasn’t planning anything super fancy.

She thanked Dobby for cooking breakfast then hurried back up to her room realizing that the clock read nine o’clock and she hadn’t even planned out what she was going to wear today. She wanted to look nice for Blaise, but still be comfortable and wear something practical as well.

Finally she decides on a pair of light colored, denim capris with a nice, comfortable, emerald green blouse. She decided on emerald green converse to go with the outfit. Mitsy comes in and does her hair into a french braid. They add emerald green hair clips to keep her bangs out of her face and she quickly preps her purse and heads downstairs as the doorbell rings.

She answers the door to the LeMontagnes and Blaise having a pleasant conversation. JJ smiles at her as Henry runs into the house to find Jack. Blaise turns away from Wil and immediately smiles at her. “Hi, Bel,” he says. “You look amazing as usual.” He hadn’t even taken his eyes away from her face.

“Aww, thanks, Blaise.” She says. “Now tell me what you think about my outfit. Is it suitable for what you have planned or no?”

He looks down going from her shirt to her shoes. “It’s perfect.” He looks back to her face. “Hello, Mr. Hotchner.”

“Hello, Blaise. You make sure she stays safe and have fun.”

“Yes, sir,” Blaise says. Bella turns around and gives the man a hug as Jack and Henry come to the door.  She bends down and gives them a hug then walks over to Blaise.

“Bye,” she says, waving as she and Blaise head for the gates to apparate wherever it is they are heading. Blaise wraps an arm around her after they disappear into some bushes and apparates to their destination. They leave the apparation area and Blaise presents two tickets at the gate.

“So, I thought you would like this. Mom found it while looking for a florist for the house.” Blaise says, leading Bella into the Botanical gardens and she just gasps. The plants have been allowed to run wild with some trimming here and there so the pathways don’t disappear.

Blaise grabs a map and they head down a path that should take them to a japanese style garden. They spend the next three hours browsing from garden to garden seeing different plants from around the world, some in green houses and others outside, some magical and some not. Until their stomachs grumble and they both laugh, Blaise looks down at the map, determines their location and then guides Bella to an open field.

Couples and families are spread acrossed the field on blankets with picnic baskets as they enjoy the pleasantly clouded sky and the food from the baskets. Blaise leads her over to a building and they look over a few different basket options before settling on sandwiches with some grapes and chips. They both select a soda and Blaise carries the basket over to an open spot in the shade of a large oak tree.

Bella pulls the blanket out and they spread it out before settling on to it. They eat their food in silence as birds sing in the trees and little kids play in the grass. “This is nice,” Bella whispers as they finish eatting. “The gardens are also quite lovely, maybe we can come again sometime.”

“Yeah,” he agrees as they clean up from their meal. They return the basket and head toward the exit. They stop by a gift shop and each pick up an item with the name of the Botanical gardens on it and Bella gets Jack and Henry each a toy depicting two of the magical plants in the gardens from the magic side of the store before they head out of the gardens completely. A quick shrinking charm and the items are in her purse. They go to the apparation point again and Blaise apparates to an alley down the road from a no-maj cinema. They slip out of the alley and walk to the cinema. They pick a movie, Blaise pays for the tickets, some popcorn and drinks and they head to their seats.

They enjoy the movie, and hold hands as the seats do not allow for cuddling. A mom and her two kids are in front of them and the kids scream at points but only a few times and quickly quiet down as the movie holds their attention. They walk out of the darkened theater and wait for their eyes to adjust. “So, what do you want to do until dinner time?” Blaise asks.

“Hmm, I don’t want to get stuck inside again.” Bella says. “It’s too nice of a day for that. Maybe we could go to Pax Alley for a little while. There’s something I want to get from there anyway.”

“Sounds like a plan,” Blaise says. “We’re actually just a couple streets over from the street entrance. Mother and I were given a map of the area when we first arrived and we found walking there was nice on days like today from our apartment.” He explains with a shrug.

Bella smiles at him and takes his hand. “Then lead the way, good sir.”

He smiles back at her with a slight shake of his head. “Right this way, my lady.” He leads her down the street.
