Thursday afternoon rolled around and Bella went to Rossi's after school for her cooking lesson. She could Blaise upstairs moving things around in his bedroom, located directly above the kitchen.

He had yet to decide which corner to set his book shelves in. Currently she was washing the dishes while the dish she was learning to cook simmered on the stove. Rossi stood beside her magically drying the dishes. She finishes the last dish and checks the food.

"A few minutes longer," she says. "Aaron and Jack should be here soon." The doorbell rings.

The bowl Rossi was drying falls to the floor and shatters. "Well, there is a nomag at the door." He fixes the dish and puts it away. "Would you please go get the door while I finish drying the dishes, the non magical way."

"Sure," Bella says before walking out the kitchen and to the front door. The magical portrait occupants have vacated the images leaving landscapes and still lifes behind. She opens the door. "Hello." She smiles at the young lady waiting on the porch.

"Hello, does a Mr. David Rossi live here?" The brunette asks.

"Yes, ma'am, he's currently in the kitchen." Bella replies. "You can come in and wait on him, I'll let you know that you're here, Miss."

"Joy, juet Joy for now." The Italian looking lady says.

"Okay, Joy, I'll let Mr. David know you're here." She goes back to the kitchen. Mr. Rossi is still there drying the last dish. "She's on the couch in the living room, waiting for you."

"I let Aaron know we have a mundane guest."

"I'll let Blaise and Francesca know." She checks supper before cutting the heat down to low and walking upstairs. "Blaise, Francesca, we have a mundane guest at the moment so no magic, please."

"Of course, dear," Franseca says from her room, "now is dinner ready?"

"Yes, ma'am, but we still have to wait for Mr. Aaron and Jack to get here, so the table can wait a little while."

"Okay, thank you."

"You're welcome." She walks over to Blaise's room. "Hey."

"Hey," he responds as he lifts a few books from a box. "So who is the guest?"

"Her name is Joy, she appears to be of Italian descent and she wanted to talk to your cousin."

"Okay," he gets up off the floor and walks over to her. "Shall we head downstairs? I believe I just saw lights in the driveway."

"Blaise, I realize that we live a few miles from each other but I know it takes longer than five minutes for Mr. Aaron to drive here and he had originally planned to floo over." She smiles at him. "You just want to meet your cousin's visitor?"

Blaise smiles at her. "Yes." Bella shakes her head but takes his arm and they head downstairs.

"Ahh, here they are now," a female voice says as they enter the living room. "Joy, meet Blaise and Bella. Blaise, Bella, this is Joy Montgomery, David's daughter."

"Hello, lovely to meet you," Bella says smiling at the lady she let in earlier.

"And you as well."

"So you're my cousin," Blaise says as he and Bella sit on the love seat.

"Yes, and just so you are all aware, I do know about magic, I just happen to be a squib. Mother spelled this necklace so no one can mess with my mind. She also spelled it to be unbreakable and there is also an anti-theft spell."

"So no one is getting into your head," Bella says with a smile.

"And I can't be obliviated." She says, smiling back.

The doorbell rings and Bella gets up to get it. She comes back with Jack and Aaron following her. "How about you stay for dinner?" Rossi says, standing up.

"I wouldn't want to impose on you." Joy says, also standing.

"Oh, you wouldn't be," Bella says, "This is my godfather Aaron Hotchner and Jack."

"We like to come over on days she has a cooking lesson with David and try what she made fresh out the pan." Aaron explains.

"Or the oven," Bella says.

"Or the pot," Rossi finishes. "Now, come. Francesca has set the table and served the pasta carbonara." He holds his hand out to his daughter, she takes it and he leads her to the kitchen.
