To say Dumbledor was furious would be an understatement. He was fuming. He had been eating while he read the scroll, but as he read more and more his eyes widened in surprise and he lost his appetite. He excused himself and walked out of the great hall, speeding up and hurrying to his office. His worries were confirmed upon entering his office, the devices he had to monitor the wards around the Dursley household were going off before falling silent. The wards around the Dursley's had fallen.
He cursed under his breath and hurried out of the school wards, apparating to a discrete location near 4 Privet Drive. He quickly hurried to the house and knocked on the door. A horse-like woman opened the door' and paled at the sight of him, "W-what do you want?"
"Where is Hyacinth?"
"Vernon locked her in her room the day she got back from your school and hasn't let her out since." Petunia sneered.
"Well, she sent a scroll of lies out to the entirety of Wizarding Britain and I wish to speak to her about it, immediately." Dumbledor replied calmly, stepping into the house.
"Pet, who is it?" Vernon asked, waddling into the hallway. " What do you want?"
"He wishes to speak with the girl," his wife explains.
"Hmph, I don't see why the girl hasn't left her room since she got back," but he led the old wizard up the stairs anyway to the room with multiple locks which the old wizard unlocked with an 'alohomora' and a twinkle in his eye. He walked in and looked around. The girl wasn't there, not even her trunk. He turned to glare at the cowering walrus of a muggle man.
" Where is she?" Dumbledor growled.
"She should be in there. The only time she can leave is when I unlock the door and I haven't done that since she got back." Vernon says, walking into the room. "Where did the window bars go?"
Dumbledor glares at the man and apparates away quickly. He appears outside of Hogwarts and calmly walks to his office. He changes the password on the Gargoyle guarding the entrance. He'll inform the staff later, right now he must figure out a way to find the girl-who-lived.

Tom Marvolo Riddle aka Lord Voldemort had put off reading the scroll until tea as he was going over reports at lunch. And he spit his tea out in surprise before laughing. Oh, that girl did not sugar coat anything. She got straight to the point.
Perhaps he should see about publishing his ideals for all of the wizarding world to see. He must thank her for putting doubt in the minds of the wizarding population, even if it would be only slightly. But how? She said she was leaving. To where?
He could write her a letter. The goblins at Gringotts would still have contact with her. He nodded his head and stood up to go to his study. Along the way, he thinks of a gift to give her. He smiles to himself as he sits down at his desk.
He first writes a note asking Lucius Malfoy to come by that evening for a chat. He then writes a thank you letter to Hyacinth Potter and a paper entailing his goals and ideals for Wizarding Britain signing it Lord Gaunt. He makes copies of the paper and sends one to each of the British Wizarding publications. He sends the note to Lucius via owl and sets the note aside to see about sending it tomorrow.
