Quidditch Tryouts Begin

Bella quickly arrives at Miss. Emmaline's office and grabs her broom from the little storage area. "Thanks, Miss. Goode" she says with a wave as she heads down to the Quidditch pitch.

When she arrives there is already a group of about twenty people waiting. She puts her school bag in the line with the other student's bags. And joins the group as they wait for the coach to show up.

"So what position are you hoping for?" A muscled raven haired boy asks. "I hope to get beater or chaser."

"I played seeker on my team at my last school and I really enjoyed it. Plus we never lost a match whenever I was playing. We didn't have enough players at my last school for a back up team though and none of the professors really thought we needed it even the year that I was in the hospital wing for a match and they didn't even post pone it."

"Well, that was stupid." A blonde haired girl says joining them. "Hi, I'm Kate. Knowing my brother like I do. He more than likely didn't introduce himself. He's Patrick. And your Bella, right?" Bella nods. "Yeah, you and your group of friends are the talk of the school. Transfers and two of you already knew the Patronus charm. Not to mention you're a Le Faye. Honestly, we all thought that if a Le Faye popped into the magical world again they would be attending Hogwarts, not Ilvermorny."

"Umm, yeah, I'm going to avoid that school as much as possible. They don't even take the privacy of their students seriously if the Daily Profit is anything to go on." Bella says.

"Oh, yeah." Kate says. " Honestly I think most of this school believes the Daily Profit to be a piece of trash. We all get the Quibbler for information. It may be a bit distorted but at least we can find the facts with everything the Daily Profit writes, you'd be lucky to find a single fact in their paper beside it is so biased it is ridiculous. The Quibbler is rather unbiased."

"Well put, Miss. Amour." An older looking man with a few gray hairs in his red curls says, before getting everyone else's attention. "Welcome everyone to the Pukwudgie Quidditch Team Tryouts. The tryouts for those of you who have never participated before are set up into four portions each portion is set up to test you for a different position. Everyone is expected to at least tryout for each position that way we can put you into the best position on the team if you make the cut. Now then onto the first portion. This test is to see how well you would do as a beater." He leads the way over to where a few beater bats sit against a fence. "You will each take a turn to hit five practice bludgers. A special ward will catch the balls and calculate how much force you put behind the hit. The four with the highest average will more than likely become our beaters unless they are better in another position."

He summoned a clipboard and started to call out names. Each person took a turn and then he ned the four people with the largest amount of force. "Elizabeth Moultrie, Derek Martin, Sylvia Beckerd, Victor Truman. The following four people are on back up for beater: Donald Moultrie, Yuki Ongaku, Harold Funchest, Angel Funchest."

He then lead the group over to an area with a quaffle and a bunch of dodgeballs bouncing up and down under a net.
