Bella watches as Jack emerges from the crowd. “Jack?!” She hollers as she pulls the small boy into her arms.
“Jack!” Blaise yells coming up the steps of the bank. “I told you not to let go of my hand.” He glares down at the little boy.
“But I saw Bella.”
“I don’t care. It’s really crowded in the alley today and I didn’t want anything to happen to you,” Blaise says, before giving Bella a kiss on the cheek. “Mr. Hotchner let me pick you up early so we could meet Bella in the alley, so that made me responsible for you.”
“Jack, apolagize to Blaise for not listening or I’ll make a batch of my cookies and make sure that you don’t get a single one.”
“No, I’m sorry for not listening to you, Blaise. Please can I have some of your cookies, Bella, please?”
She laughs. “Of course you can, I’m going to make some tomorrow, Do you want to help me?” He nods as they enter the joke shop. She nimbly avoids all the prank traps through out the store and makes her way up the stairs. She hears groans from behind her and turns to face the two older boys accompanying her and Jack. They both have to giggle. Blaise is covered in Gryffindor colored glitter and Charlie is in Slytherin colored glitter.
She takes a quick pic with her phone before cleaning the two up. Percy opens the door to let them in. “I heard giggle what was so funny?” He asks.
“Nothing,” Blaise and Charlie yell.
“Those two got covered in Hogwarts house glitter colors. Charlie was in Slytherin colors and Blaise was in Gryffindor colors.” Percy gets a smirk on his face as he imagines this. “I took a picture on my phone if you want to see.”
“Yes, please, also can you please help me with using mine. Lucius made every Ministry employ get one in order to communicate faster and had someone come in to show us how to use them, but I am still a little confused.”
“Dad said Percy was blushing the entire time the instructor was showing him what to do.” Percy blushes at the statement.
“Sure,” Bella says, a smile on her face as she puts Jack down. He runs over to the teasing twins.
“Oh, and we invited one more person to dinner, he should be arriving soon.” The twins say as the floo flares green and another red head steps out. “Hey, Dad.”
“Dad!” Percy and Charlie exclaim running over to the man as he moves to join the twins and Jack.
“Percy, Charlie,” He greets.
“Hello, Mr. Weasley,” Blaise says.
“Hello, Arthur,” Bella says, walking over to the man.
“Bella, I am so sorry about what Molly, Ronald, and Ginevra did to you and what they were going to do to you had you stayed. The twins have been keeping me informed since I moved out of the Burrow. Molly kept coming around and we didn’t want to take any chance of me letting anything slip to her.”
“It wasn’t your fault, besides that woman wronged you as well.”
“I’m just glad you are finally somewhere that you truly get to be yourself and are happy.”
“Yes, and that I don’t have to hide my boyfriend.”
“By the way, I’m still going to take you on a date, next Saturday, so no making any plans.” Blaise says.
“Got it. Keep my calendar clear for next Saturday.” Bella says. “Arthur, the little boy is Jack Hotchner, my godbrother, and you know Blaise Zabini. He is my boyfriend.”
“It’s great to meet you, Jack, you be careful around Gred and Foerge, they’ll get you with their pranks.” Arthur says, smiling at the happy young boy.
“I know,” Jack says, happily.
The older man then turns his attention to Blaise, a hard look in his eye. “You better be treating her right. That is a girl I think of as my daughter. And I cherish my children.”
“Great to hear, Dad,” another red head says stepping out of the fire.
“Bill,” the twins say, glaring at the oldest Weasley child. “You said you couldn’t make it.”
“I was going to go on a date with my girlfriend, but she had a family emergency come up and said she would make it up to me next week.” Bill says, scratching the back of his neck. “I hope you don’t mind that I decided to come.”
“No, but we will have to inform Magenta, she is cooking.”
“I see him, I will make sure there is enough for him as well,” Magenta says, putting a tray of drinks and bowl of fruit on the coffee table. Jack grabs a glass of lemonade and pulls out his favorite toy. The magic ball and starts making it levitate.
"Well, this seems to have turned inti an impromptu Weasley family get together." The twins say with a smile.
