"Okay," Bella says with a smile, that the rest of the transfer students share. "First, where do you two live? You apparate to and from school everyday, so where do you live?"

" We live in a small town in South Carolina." Sarah says.

"Is it nice?" Sky asks.

"Yes, very peaceful, lots of distance between us and the neighbors. Sarah probably should have said that we live outside of a small town in South Carolina." Charlotte says. "Our house is set back into some woods and we have plenty of cover for practicing spells outside though the house does have a small room for spell practice in it."

"Some spells are just better practiced outside," Sarah takes over. "It's a drive to get to town for groceries and stuff, but it is an excellent place for bird watching and nature walks."

"If we want to go magical shopping we either have to apparate to Magicis Alley or we drive to its physical location. It depends on how much of the family is going." Charlotte says.

"So America has multiple magical alleys?" Blaise says. "Britain only has one."

"Well, the size difference would explain that." Bella says. "Blaise, Britain could fit into America multiple times over and the fact that pure blood British wizarding families are inbreeding so much means that the magical population is dying off quite quickly over there. The strongest wizards and witches born over there are half bloods and the pure bloods still haven't noticed that they are killing off the magical people over there based on their blood supremacy."

"Over here, as soon as a child displays accidental magic, a pair of Aurors are sent to the family to explain the situation and if the child 8s in foster care, magical families that would like to foster children and get them placed with one of them." Sarah says. "My dad is on one of the teams that reacts to those calls."

"That's nice to know, do they also help with getting people to watch magical children?" Bella asks.

"Yes, they have a list of people that are willing and able to watch magical children. Well, multiple lists, one list for single night stays, another for long trips and a third for if they need live-in assistance." Sarah says. "Charlotte and I are both on the list for a single night of babysitting. If for some reason someone cannot continue on the list they are on they can call the Child Services office and get themselves moved to a different list or completely removed from the lists altogether."

"Neat, is their a process for being put on the list?" Bella asks

"Yes, you have to fill out a form, and then they do a background check of you not your family. They'll give you an interview if your background comes back clean." Charlotte says, just as the bell rings .
