Breakfast and Potions

Wednesday morning, Bella woke to sunlight filtering through her dorm window and slowly stretched. She then got up and got ready for the day. She pulls on a pair of jeans with a green and black tie dye t-shirt and pulls her hair into a high ponytail. She pulls on a pair of green sneakers and grabs her school bag from a hook by the door and walks out.

Sky is just closing her own room door behind herself. She is wearing a black blouse with a sort of v- neck with a criss-cross ribbon pulling it a little closer together. A Sky blue vest matches the scarf tied around her waste. Black skinny pants hug her legs and disappear into brown boots. Her hair is pulled back into her usual long braid and a Sky blue ribbon adorns the end of it. "Morning, Bella." Sky says walking over to her.

"Morning, Sky." Bella replies. "Shall we go find our friends?"

"Marvellous idea." They leave the main dormitory area and step into the hall just to find Norville and Thomas waiting on them. The group of four then make their way to the entrance hall to get breakfast.

They decide to sit on the front steps to eat and wait for the rest of their friends to arrive. Sky enjoys a cup of Greek yogurt with strawberries and blueberries and some over easy eggs with a cup of apple juice. Thomas has eggs, bacon, and toast with a cup of apple juice. Norville has a cup of grape juice with his breakfast of oatmeal.. Bella has a cup of Earl Grey tea with a full English breakfast.

By the time Sarah and Charlotte arrive, they have all finished eating and are just sipping on the remainder of their drinks. "Good morning." Bella says as they sit down with them.

"Good morning," the rest say at the same time as each other. They sit there for a little while longer before Blaise arrives and the greeting is repeated. The dorm residing group finishes off their drinks and then the whole group moves to go inside.

They make their way to the splitting point for their classes talking quietly with each other about what they want to do this weekend, what the day might hold, and other such things. Norville has his arm wrapped around Sky's waist while Blaise does the same with Bella.

The bell rings and after his usual kiss to Bella Blaise walks off from the group. The others head on their way and split off as needed. Until it's just Bella, Thomas, and Sky left and they enter the Potions classroom.

Cauldrons were already set at the tables, one per table and two for Sky and Thomas on the back table they shared. When the late bell rings Severus stands from his desk and closes the door and opens the window. "Today you will be brewing a Wound-Cleaning Potion." He says with a wave of his wand the instructions appear on the board. You will be working with the person you sat with. Read the instructions carefully, if you do not understand something, ask. Begin when you are ready. Mr. And Miss. Spellcast, please submit your potions of choice to my desk."

Sky immediately pulls a rather thick folder out of her bag and rifles through the papers. Then her face lights up and she pulls a packet of papers out and walks to the front desk and hands it to Snape. She then goes to the ingredients cabinet and grabs what she needs.

Thomas soon follows her example and Bella finishes reading the instructions on the board. She goes over them again before she heads to the cabinet as she got a table to herself. She grabs what she needs and begins to brew the potion. However before she truly begins she secures her hair better by braiding with a quick spell.

Class seems to fly by as the students brew and Snape walks around the classroom keeping an on the students. He checks the color and consistency of the potions when he walks by and tells some people that should consider the steps carefully as they continue. He checks on Sky and Thomas and nods in approval at their cauldrons before moving on. 

Five minutes before the bell is supposed to ring, he has every stop and places each cauldron under a stasis charm and says that they will pick it up where they left off tomorrow before having all the cauldrons float to a set of shelves to the right side of the room and a plaque appears with the pairs of students names or the student's name.
