Friday morning dawned dark and dreary. The scent of rain crept into Bella's room through an open balcony door. Sitting up in her bed, Bella waves her hand closing the door and vanishing the puddle of water on the floor.  Sighing, she gets out of bed.

Aaron had returned right before dinner the day before with JJ, Jack and Bella had been at the LeMontagnes having dinner with Wil and Henry. Both of them collected the other two members of their families and hugged them close. Apparently the kidnapping had hit closer to home than they originally thought.

The MACUSA had to be called to alter some memories as the unsub was a wizard and had been torturing the boy with magic. The boy and his family were magical. And the Aurors had just made it in time as the unsub had a sickly green glow on the tip of his wand.

They had made it seem as if the unsub had been about to shoot the boy when they got there. Then made it seems as if the FBI unit and the police had dealt with the unsub. The boy had been about Jack's age and it was always a relief to the two to come home to their families, but even more so when the crime seemed personal.

Bella gets dressed and heads downstairs. The portraits complaining of an early morning knock on the door. Bella shakes her head and gets the door. "Good morning. You're here early, Miss. Heather."

"Yes, well, my aunt insisted on dropping me off before going to work because she knows how nervous my parents get about me driving in the rain."

"Well, get in here and out of the rain. Do you want me to dry you off?"

"If you don't mind."

"I wouldn't have suggested it otherwise," Bella says, pulling her wand out for this one. Soon Heather is dry and sitting on the couch. "Have you had breakfast?"

"Yes, I have a tendency to eat with Aunt Emmaline, however I wouldn't mind a cup of coffee."

"Dobby," Bella calls and the energetic elf pops in front of her. "Could you please get Miss. Heather a coffee?"

The little elf nods and faces the woman. "How would Miss. Heather like her coffee?"

"Umm, two teaspoons of sugar and just a dash of cream, please," Miss Heather says, watching the elf in front of her. Dobby vanishes with a slight nod and moments later a cup of coffee appears. "Uhh, what was that?"

"A house elf. Specifically Dobby. A house elf serves a wizard, witch, or wizarding family in order to stabilize their magic through a bond. Some witches and wizards take advantage of this by abusing their house elves. But I find it to be beneficial as house elves are capable of doing things that witches and wizards can't. Such as getting through anti-apparation wards." Bella explains. "I have four house elves. Dobby was the first one and he used to be a Malfoy family elf they abused him. Winky whose previous master let her go when she stole a wand. Kreacher who I 'inherited' when I became Lady Black as he is a Black family house elf. And Mitsy who is connected to the Potter family."

"Is that how many house elves you have? Four," Aaron says walking downstairs with Jack. "Hello, Heather, you're early. I was expecting you for a few more hours."

"Sorry, Aunt Emmaline insisted on dropping me off since it is raining." Heather says, sipping her coffee.

"Umm, well…" Aaron says.

"It's okay, if you had things to do this morning. She literally grabbed me and apparate to the front gate when she saw the rain outside. Go do what you need to. I can wait here. Talk to your ancestors. They probably have some wonderful stories to tell."

Aaron turns to the portrait behind him, and notices the lady in it waving at Heather. "Oh so many stories." The lady says.

"Okay, so, Jack, Bella, let's go eat breakfast, then it's off to Jack's school. If we run over, I'll see what I can do. I have the entire day off."

"Great, see you when you get back. Umm, do you think Dobby could refill my coffee," Heather asks. "Oh, never mind. Thanks."

Bella and Jack drag Aaron to the kitchen were food is on the table. They eat quickly then get their bags and grabbing hold of both males and apparate them to Jack's school. After dropping, Jack off at his classroom, Aaron and Bella go to the office where the principal is waiting on them.

"If you two would please follow me, I've already started the paperwork. Aaron, you've read it before when you had Emmaline. We haven't made in any changes. However if you would like to refresh your memory, I will not stop you. Miss. Le Faye, just so you understand what is required of a magical guardian." He says with a small smile.

Bella picks the paper up to read. The top reads Non Blood Related Sibling of Student. She looks up at the principal, who nods toward Aaron. She turns to look at her guardian.

"When Emmaline called me to tell me that you wanted to be able to pick Jack up from school. I was all for it except I didn't want to make you a magical guardian to him for you to be able to do it. So I then called Gideon to see if there were alternatives."

"After you and Emmaline left, I returned to my office and asked one of the secretaries to help me look through all the emergency pickup forms for any alternative forms for non-blood related family. She and I found that one much to our relief."

"He faxed me a copy last night and I thought it was perfect. Go ahead and read the rest."

Bella nods and reads the details. It simply states that the parent/guardian views the person as a honorary daughter/son or they are the students godsister/godbrother and that the students parent/guardian permission for them to pick the student up from school and drop them off at school. Gideon had already signed where he needed to and Bella and Aaron quickly signed as well. Bella then put a single drop of blood on the parchment to register her magical signature.

Bella then dropped Aaron back at the house before heading to school, just in time for the first bell to ring again.
