Hermione was explaining the difference between muggle holidays and Magical ones with Daphne to a few first years with Draco adding here and there. The main difference between the two was their main purpose. While muggle holidays were about gathering family together and exchanging gifts, Magical ones were mainly about renewing magic in not just oneself but Earth herself. The gatherings were more of a bonus to them and they enjoyed the gatherings. Daphne had even invited her to her family's Yule ball that year.

The purebloods had actually becomeore pleasant to be around when she had expressed an interest in learning more about Magical traditions and culture in the British Isles as corresponded with Krum about Bulgarian Magical culture and talked to Professor Fleur about French Magical Culture. She was also learning about the American Magical society with the Weasley twins with the Magical cellphone, Fred had sent her. Though they were further along than her on that one since they lived there and she didn't. Though her parents had agreed to take her for the summer, of only for a couple weeks.

The cellphone was pure genusis if you asked her as it irradiated the need for floor calls which were somewhat creepy with floating flaming heads. She could video chat the twins. It could be charged in two minutes after she said the charging incantations.

Daphne caught sight of her talking on it one time and after she explained it to her. Daphne immediately wrote her father about getting a family plan and as they operated on the Muggle cell towers they would be able to use them at the school. A week later Hermione was teaching her and Astoria how to use all the different features and showing them how to download games to play.

The calculator had already proved useful in Arthimancy which was mostly math to begin with. She was using it to double check her work for the most part but as she could now spot when she made a mistake she wouldn't have to start the whole process over.

The biggest changes were in her love life. Where she had thought she had taken a romantic interest in Ronald Weasley the year before, she discovered it was only a crush from being friends with him for so many years. But after Hyacinth had shown her the evidence from the goblins of his thievery, she found him disgusting at the start of the year she had let him and his sister know what she thought of them and refused to speak to them.

Draco had called her and several first years mudbliods the first week of school and she had told Fred and the next week was hilarious as he got pranked practically continuously.

Speaking of Fred, he had sent the phone to McGonagall for her during the summer and had already put his and George's numbers as well as two surprise numbers in. The first surprise was Remus Lupin who had found a teaching position in the United States most prestigious school of magic, Ilvermorny. The second was Sirius who had explained that he faked his own death with some help and had gone to America seeking aslum and after a questioning under Vertisuim was granted it and also had a job at Ilvermorny with his husband.

Fred would often text her the silliest little facts that would have her smiling for hours. They would sometimes talk late into the night which put her to just calling him on Friday and Saturday nights. Which upset him a little until she pointed out they would often talk until three to four o'clock in the morning, and she didn't want to fall asleep in class.

It was one of these Friday night calls that she learned what happened to Hyacinth.

"Fred, honestly what do you expect me to say? I see the point of having excellent pranking supplies, but my point of view is rather straightforward on the world."

"Fred," George says, poking his head into the room. "Belladonna made her house team."

"Good for her, George," Fred says turning to look at his twin. "Seeker, right?"

"Course, just like her old man."

"Who do you two know who also has a father who was a seeker like Hyacinth's father? And named after a flower?"

"One, Hermione. Hello, Fred. I was wondering why you weren't downstairs with George." Bella said walking in. " I thought I'd tell you two in person that I made the team as I needed to get some supplies for school anyway. Hello, Hermione, so I had my name legally changed. I am now Belladonna Rowena le Faye. I'm living in America with my third option for a godfather and attending another prestigious wizarding school. I believe Fred gave you my new phone number but didn't put my name with it, so you can call me if you want, but I need to be getting home. Bye." She turned and left the room to use the floo.
