2 hours later, Wanda knocked on my door dressed in a long coat with a bobble hat and snow boots on. I wasn't dressed too differently from that. Her hair framed her face perfectly. "You ready?" She asked. I nodded my head in response, "Let me just say bye to my mum," I said as I walked to Nat's door. I knocked gently which was followed by a soft "come in." I walked in and closed the door behind me. "I'm going out on a date with Wanda," I said, half as a question, half as a fact. I was so nervous and I'm assuming my nerves were shown through the uncertainty in my voice. Nat looked at me then smiled. "ok, have fun and stay safe," She said. I didn't respond. I had no idea what to say or do. Did I have to act differently with Wanda? No that's stupid, she's my girlfriend. Just be you. I quickly turned on my heels and walked out to see Wanda. "Ready?" She asked, giving me a warm smile. "Yep," I replied as she grabbed my hand. We walked out of the compound and out into the snow. The sun was shining, despite it being cold. We walked hand in hand for about thirty minutes before we got to a place I have never been to before. In the middle of a park, there was an ice skating rink that had just enough people on it. I looked at Wanda, the sun dancing off her head, highlighting a million colors of hazel, gold, and red. She had a cheeky grin on her face and her eyes were wide with excitement.

"You ever ice skated before?" Wanda asked as I wobbled around on the ice, using the side of the rink and her hand for support. "Yeah, I'm a pro," I said sarcastically as I nearly fell into her. She laughed as she said, "Watch this." I stood at the side as I watched Wanda gracefully skate off into the middle of the rink. I watched in awe as Wanda did some sort of spin. She skated back to me. "That was impressive," I said. "I used to skate in Sokovia when I was younger, I used to be better and do more turns and stuff with my leg in stupid places," Wanda said as she chuckled softly, "Your turn," She said as she took both of my hands and lead me away from the wall. "Wanda, I...I don't think this is a good idea," I said nervously. "You'll be fine!" Wada said, "I'll help you!" Wanda lifted my arm up and indicated for me to spin around. I spun and nearly fell, only to be caught by Wanda. I chuckled nervously. "That's good!" She said, "Try and let the blade do the work, you just stand there and look pretty." I tried again and fell over, this time dragging Wanda down with me. We landed in a heap on the ice. I'm such an idiot! What if I hurt Wanda? My thoughts were interrupted by Wanda laughing. I let out a sigh of relief. She wasn't hurt. She was ok. I laughed with her as she clambered off of me. Pushing herself up so that her face was inches from mine. "Maybe ice skating isn't your thing," Wanda said laughing.

We got off the ice and decided to get a takeaway coffee. We trudged through the snow, coffee in one hand and each other's hands intertwined. We got to a park bench and decided to sit down, I looked at Wanda. The sunlight reflected off the coffee in her hand. I looked at her as she turned to look at me. I got lost in her gorgeous eyes. her breath fogged in front of her face and her cheeks were rosy from the cold. At that moment she looked so beautiful. Her auburn hair fell out of her hat and framed her perfect face. I was so lucky to call this woman my girlfriend.

*WANDA'S POV*

I held y/n's hand as we skated into the middle. "Wanda, I...I don't think this is a good idea," Y/n stammered. She was nervous I could tell. "You'll be fine!" I said reassuringly, "I'll help you!" I lifted my arm up still holding onto y/n. She tried to spin but got stuck and fell towards me. I did my best to catch her and stand her back up. "That's good!" I lied. I didn't want to hurt her feelings and she was trying so hard. "Try and let the blade do the work, you just stand there and look pretty." I held y/n's hand again as she went to spin. Once again she fell only this time it was away from me. I fell in a heap on y/n. I started laughing as y/n joined in laughing too. I pushed myself up so I was no longer crushing y/n. Our faces were so close I could feel her breath on my face. I would have stayed there forever had I not realized we were on the floor in the middle of the ice rink.

We decided to go to this small cafe to get a takeaway coffee. We walked to a small park, the snow crunching underfoot and breath coming out in clouds in front of us as we spoke. We both sat down. I looked out to the quiet park. I turned to look at y/n who was already looking at me. She looked stunning. The sun caught her hair in the right places. I placed my hand on her cheek, it was warm to touch though I imagine my hand would have been cold was I not wearing gloves. I leaned in as our cold lips touched. A shiver ran through my spine, but a good shiver. I don't know how to describe it. We parted lips as the snow started to fall. We both decided we should head back to the compound.

We walked in to see everyone sat in the living room. They all go quiet at y/n and I walk in. I glance at Nat who shakes her head slightly. A warning not to look into her mind. "I'm gonna go shower," I said as I turned and left. "I'm gonna shower too," Said y/n as she caught up to me. "Y/n," Nat said, causing y/n to halt. I stopped with her as we both turned to face Nat. "Not together I hope?" I held in my laugh as y/n went bright red and rolled her eyes, walking out of the room. Nothing too serious had happened then, not if Nat was making jokes. I knew they would catch me up at some point, they just didn't want y/n to know.
