| Kagami Taiga |

"Your eyebrows are stupid."

"So are yours."

"Mine don't turn into two separate ones!"

"Mine don't look like thin sticks!"

Akira rolled her eyes in annoyance. "First of all, bakagami, my eyebrows are perfectly normal! Second of all, your eyebrows are just plain stupid, and everyone agrees!"

Akira, manager of Seiren basketball team, couldn't believe she liked such an irritating boy like Kagami Taiga. How cliche was that? The most annoying boy in probably the whole first-year grade was her crush. I know what your thinking. Who could like someone like...like... Kagami. His head was so full of basketball that his brain was probably one, and he was stubborn. So stubborn.

"O-Oi, everyone thinks my eyebrows are stupid but they're just... special! Yeah, special!"

If Akira wasn't so angry right now she would've doubled over in laughter, instead her glare hardened.

The argument wasn't even about how stupid each other's eyebrows were. It started when Kagami started getting frustrated with Akira's demands and began to do his own things, messing up the whole practice. The other boys were confused, not knowing where to go or what to do because Kagami was just all over the place.

That's when Akira walked onto the courts and slapped the side of Kagami's head, yelling at him, beyond pissed with his reckless attitude.

The two of them continued to argue over following what Akira said would be good for the team until it took a turn and they began to point out each other's flaws. This bringing the eyebrow discussion into the picture.

"Your hair is too red."

"My hair is a perfect amount of red!"

"Your brain is practically a basketball!"

"Y-Yeah well, you... you're uglier than most girls! No wonder no guys like you!"

Now that hit it. You see, when Akira was a first-year, she was horribly in love with a close friend of hers, also being a second-year. They were always there for each other. However, when Akira confessed, he had turned her down with no hesitation. He said that she was ugly and not the type he was interested in - the pretty type. She was heart broken. Their friendship was close to no longer existing, and majority of the time he would ignore her. Then he left to Europe, and Akira never saw him since. Memories of him Kagami smirked at Akira's sudden silence. He froze when he saw her bottom lip tremble slightly and a few tears clouding her eyes.

"You baka!" Akira slapped Kagami on his right cheek, her eyes shut in attempt to stop her tears falling.

"Akira..." She ran out of the gym, hands covering her face.

"Kagami, you are a complete idiot." Kuroko sighed, "I'll go see her."

"No!" Kagami placed his arm in front of Kuroko, stopping him from leaving the gym, "I-I'll go after her."

"Kagami, are you sure that's the best-"

"Let him go, Kuroko." Hyuuga called from the other side of the gym where he stood beside a very angry-looking Riko.

Kuroko hesitated but nodded at Kagami after a few seconds of thought.

Kagami ran out, eyes searching frantically for a hot-headed, brown-haired girl. He heard soft sobs coming from round the corner of the gym, and he cautiously moved towards the sound.

Akira sat there against the wall, her head ducked between her knees and her arms wrapped around her shins.

"Akira." In all honesty, Kagami was really scared at the moment.

"Go away, Kagami." Instead of leaving, he moved forward until he was seated beside Akira, his heart beating way too fast.

"Disobeying my orders again, huh?" Her voice was muffled, but all Kagami was focusing on was her voice, his chest hurting whenever he heard the pain in her voice.

"You know I didn't mean it, Akira."

She forced a light laugh, "Yeah, of course you didn't."

"I'm being honest here," Kagami trailed off, thinking of the correct words to say, "You're actually... the prettiest girl I've ever met." His words got quieter at the end, but nonetheless, Akira heard every word and her head snapped up in surprise, fresh tears still on her cheeks.

"R-Really?"

Kagami turned his head towards her, their eyes locking. He studied her features and realised how beautiful Akira actually was, "Y-Yeah." He scratched the back of his neck, feeling nervous all of a sudden.

Akira leaned her head onto his shoulder, catching Kagami by surprise, but he gave no attempt to stop her, "Well, Kagami, you are probably the most annoying boy I've ever met, but your not too bad yourself." She giggled, Kagami smiling in response.

"Akira... I-I like you." This was Kagami's first confession, and his heart was beating so fast in panic.

"I like you too, Bakagami." They sat next to each other, hands intertwined and Akira's head on his shoulder.

And though Riko thought that their intimate moment was probably one of the most romantic things ever, she was definitely not happy that they skipped the rest of practice.
