You couldn't believe it. Was this your first date? Hyuga coughed, fumbling for the karaoke remote.

"I know it's a bad idea for a first date," Hyuga spoke, avoiding eye contact, "But you've been really busy lately and I heard you saying that you couldn't go karaoke with your friends, so I thought that we-"

You laughed, interrupting his sentence that he was putting together awkwardly.

"I like it, don't worry." Hyuga let out a huge sigh of relief while the pink on his cheeks intensified.

"U-Uhm, I prepared a song for you." Hyuga muttered while you searched for a song you'd like to sing.

"Really?" You smiled shyly.

"Yeah." Your heart fluttered with gratitude.

"Well, uhm, go ahead." Hyuga nodded, taking the remote from your grasp and picking up a microphone in the other hand.

"Can you close your eyes?" He asked and his ears turned red.

"S-Sure." You covered your eyes. After a moment of silence, Hyuga cleared his throat before putting the remote back down.

"You can open them now." Hyuga commented.

The sight that met you made you laugh. The beginning of the song that Hyuga had chosen began to play and you were at a loss for words.

"I'm glad that I was able to confess my feelings to you, (your name). I've known you for so long and I'm finally able to ask you this question. Can you answer me after I finish this song?"

You nodded shyly but your enthusiasm made you grin widely.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

The lyrics began and you sat watching Hyuga sing, trying your best to hold back your laughter.
