PART 3
| Murasakibara Atsushi |

"Merry Christmas." Despite knowing absolutely nothing about the purple-haired mountain, he was the one thing you wanted on Christmas. Not the pair of earmuffs he held in his hand (although, they were an undoubtedly beautiful pair of earmuffs), but him.

Sure, you had pretty lousy parents that acted like work was their only child, but they had always taken off time to spend every Christmas with you. This year was the only one they had missed, and the loss of someone to spend it with was difficult for you to deal with.

And so, grabbing the opportunity while it was in your reach, you had gladly accepted the boxed gift and asked the boy, who's name was Murasakibara, if he wanted to spend the festive day with you, keeping in mind that he had no important plans.

Murasakibara had agreed, but only if you cooked something delicious (presuming that you had a desert set for after). With the exchanging of phone numbers and your address, you went home with a smile and someone to celebrate Christmas with.

When Christmas passed, you found yourself in an empty house. But feeling down was nothing near what you felt.

"Still by yourself?" His voice, although sounding lazy, it comforted you and felt soothing.

"Yeah," You sighed,"No one's coming home anytime soon."

The sound of a car starting up blocked out his voice a little, but the words were clear enough, "Then I'm coming over."

"I'll see you soon then," Maybe it wasn't intentional, but hearing that word you spoke next gave you a tingling feeling in your stomach, "Boyfriend."

"I'll get you pocky next time, alright?" Chuckling while you lay on your back, your dad, who had finally came home from his trip, passed your room, pausing when he caught you grinning widely. He heard the quiet mumble of words from the other line of your phone, and although it was nothing close to audible for him, he could tell that it was a guy, and his fatherly senses kicked in (but they should've kicked in awhile ago).

"Who are you talking to?"

"Someone who was actually there for me." You said without even glancing at your dad.

Mostly everyone was frozen now, and many women were silently squealing.

Snow drizzled from the large tree that stood above the two of you, creating white patches in his hair, though he paid no mind to it. You didn't focus on anything as well.

Tears began to blind your eyesight, and you wiped at them, getting rid of the blurriness. All you could hear was your breathing mingled in with his. Cosy earmuffs, the exact ones he had bought you three years ago, warmed you up.

The both of you never broke eye contact, everything around you two seemed to (ironically) melt away into white.

You always thought this day would come. Your heart raced and your palms became clammy under your gloves.

Snow crunched under his knee as he kneeled, and he pulled out a small, navy box.

"(First name), will you marry me?"

"Yes."

Just like meeting him on that cold Christmas Eve of December, where you found yourself falling in love, he proposed to you in a white December.

He will, and always will be, your miracle in December.
