You couldn't forget it. The image of his eyes pooling with tears and the corners of his lips rising to reassure you was an image that you wouldn't allow yourself to forget. You remember exactly how cold the wooden floorboards were underneath your shins and the shaking of his hands that you chose to ignore. [ It's just a little to cold in here, that's all. ]

You're going to come back, right?

Definitely. Just wait, Ruka. I'll definitely come back.

You remember him disappearing past the door and the lock clicking into place after. It was all still so fresh in your mind - his yells, the sound of glass shattering and the heavy thump of wood and men falling against the floor. You remember his grunts and moans while you dug your fingernails so hard into your palm that you bled.

Daiki, I love you.

It haunted you. Every night it was the nightmares and the tormenting thoughts that kept you awake. All you could think about was what if I hadn't shown up? [ Hey, Ruka. I'm sorry but please don't come over right now. Please. ] If your stubbornness hadn't driven you to go to him, it would've been one less person to protect, and one more person that would be alive right now.

Your fingers grazed the petals of the flowers as you set the bouquet down onto the grey stone.

"How have you been doing, Daiki? I hope you aren't mad at me, I faked being sick so I could come see you. Oh! I got into the top 5 for most of my exams. You were always pestering me about my grades before."

Silence met your words.

"Hey, Daiki, I kept my promise - I'm not going anywhere. So now you have to wait for me, alright? Promise?"

inspired by the many kdramas where there are loan sharks and people always getting beat up by someone evil. not that aomine would want anything to do with a loan shark. also inspired by the photo i found that i've attached. it took me a while to figure something out from it but it suddenly came to me after i all-nightered watching city hunter.

seriously 101% done with lee min ho oh my gosh. /criesfromtheperfection (warning: too much lee min ho can be dangerous, but don't hold back. there is never an end to how much lee min ho you would like. go for it)

very sorry about this inactivity. i haven't written a single thing since what was last uploaded and kinda broke down in tears trying to write anything after. my situation with wattpad and writing is so stupid and complicated it's not worth anyone's time.

i'm really sorry to all my readers. thank you for all the support so far. although it's gone down by a lot (which my inactivity is to blame for so why am i even mentioning this) i hope that i'll find whatever it is i need to get back into writing.
