Returned to how I used to write when I really enjoyed it. I haven't written like this in a long time, so it might not be the best. Enjoy :)

Do you want a painkiller?
They were stupid - painkillers, that is. They were unforgivable things that did no good. Painkillers were worse than the pain you wanted to kill.
They gave you too much hope. Like him, they made you think that life was going to get better, that pain was easy to get rid of. They temporarily took away a pain that scarred you, only to bring it back ten times worse.
So what was the point? The point was that they gave you a happiness you knew you could never have permanently. They were a place you could never stay at - a place that you could barely reach without a helping hand.
He embodied painkillers. Him and his beautiful hair - all of him was just like the small tablets you had grown to despise. He was there whenever you needed him, and he was right by your side whenever you didn't think that you did need him. But he was just false hope. The happiness he gave and the future he made you imagine - it was all fake.
Were you always like this? You know, I thought you were much better than that. Did you think that you could keep up with this? Playing girls and messing with their emotions? You're sick!
He played with your head and gave you something that was never real in the first place. He took your pride and the rest of what you thought could be somehow morphed into relief.
Hey, (your name)cchi! Uh, I'm sorry about last time. I didn't mean to hurt you that much.
He was the one who you thought could take away the aches in your heart when you tried to sleep. He was the sole person that you hoped could make the suffering disappear.
But, in the end, even though you knew very well that he was the one who made it worse, you were desperate. You were desperate to get rid of the grief that ripped you to shreds and misery that caused you to toss and turn at night.
You missed him. You missed having him by your side. You missed Kise, but there was no way of getting him back, no matter how much you tried to convince yourself.
Do you want a painkiller?
Yes, I want a painkiller.
