"Oi, Hatsumi, let's go out tonight." Hatsumi's head snapped up in shock from the homework she was currently completing.

"You want to take me out?" You see, ever since Hatsumi confessed to Aomine, their relationship hadn't been what she had hoped for. Aomine nearly missed both their monthly anniversaries and Hatsumi was positive she had caught him glancing at a few other girls's breasts. She wasn't the most social girl, or the prettiest, and her breast size was in between, but Aomine had accepted going out with her, and they had been together since.

Aomine rubbed the back of his neck with one hand, his other tucked in his pocket. "Yeah, so?"

He was nervous, it was obvious, but Hatsumi decided to not believe such a thing. Aomine? Nervous? Around her? It was almost laughable for Hatsumi if it wasn't hurtful.

She shook her brown curls and returned to finishing her homework. "Nothing, it's just something I wouldn't have expected you to do."

Hatsumi couldn't lie. She was going to break up with him today. They didn't even appear like a couple when they were together, and no matter how much Hatsumi wanted to deny it, she couldn't. Did Aomine still have feelings for her? Did he even have feelings for her in the beginning?

"H-Hatsumi, why are you crying?" Aomine's voice was lined with panic as large tears stained the paper Hatsumi was looking down at.

"Hatsumi?"

She lifted her head and Aomine caught sight of the many tears escaping her eyes. Hatsumi forced a smile, the hand that was holding the pencil was now tight and her nails dug into her palm. Hatsumi honestly liked Aomine, ever since he had gotten a little nicer because of the Winter Cup loss.

"We should break up." Hatsumi's voice cracked in the middle of her sentence.

Aomine's eyes widened in shock. He hadn't expected this, not at all.

"I thought you liked me, Hatsumi." Aomine's voice was more soft now.

"I-I do, a lot." She played with her pencil, "But it's you, Aomine, who doesn't seem like you like me. I don't want to be in a relationship where my boyfriend looks at other girls with desire. I want a boyfriend that shows up on our anniversaries on time and treats me properly."

Hatsumi got out of her seat and stood in front of Aomine, tears continuing to leave her eyes.

"So..." She tilted her head up to meet Aomine's eyes, "We should break up."

Hatsumi tried to smile but failed and cried harder.

Aomine reached out and pulled her into a warm hug, his arm holding her waist and the other wrapped around her shoulders.

"Never, don't you ever leave me."
