You glanced down at your hand that was being held by a larger one. Your blush grew greater and you looked away.

You felt a small tug on your hand and you looked up at the green-haired boy, his taped fingers fixing his glasses.

"I need to purchase the mini stuffed panda," Your face turned to confusion, "It's Cancer's lucky item today."

"R-Right," You nodded. You smiled bashfully, "I'll wait outside."

Midorima looked like he was about to say something but changed his mind. "Be safe nanodayo."

You laughed quietly, "I'm ten steps away, you can come and save me if anything happens."

Once Midorima entered the store, the nervous feeling of being alone gradually became larger.

"H-Hey, you're really pretty." You almost jumped out of your skin at the sudden talking beside you and you turned to find a boy about your age with his hands stuffed in his pockets, red coating his cheeks.

"U-Uhm, thanks." You replied awkwardly.

"Look," His abrupt outburst surprised you, "My friends made me come over to talk to you but I'm not good with this stuff and the worst in the group when it comes to speaking to girls so I'm sorry for doing-"

"Oi, Kei, you're hopeless." The boy was interrupted and pushed to the side, and instead a few more confident looking boys appeared in front of you.

"You here alone?" One of them asked, and he smiled flirtatiously, but you thought he looked more like a deformed whale.

"U-Uh, no." You looked down at your hands that was currently clasped together.

"Hey, don't be shy." Another one smiled cheerfully, and he reminded you of Kazunari, except an uglier type of Kazunari. Way uglier.

"Yeah, we're nice-" He stopped talking and looked a little terrified of something behind you.

"Do you have any important business with my girlfriend?" You felt faint at the word girlfriend, "Because if you don't, stop talking her, you're making her nervous."

"No, no, no," The first boy shook his head violently and forced a laugh, "Your girlfriend was just all alone here so we decided to come over and talk to her. You never know who could be around here." They ran off and the shy boy that had spoke to you in the beginning bowed and apologised before walking off after them.

"T-Thanks," You took a deep breath, "S-Shintaro..."

You felt arms around your torso and a chin on your head. Midorima brought out the mini stuffed panda in front of you.

"I was lying," Midorima's arms tightened around your torso, as if to say that you were his and he would never let you go, "The panda is (your zodiac sign)'s lucky item today."
