Haunted House - Shinji

"I'm hungry, (Your name)." Koganei whined, tugging your hand. You laughed at his childish actions.

"You've eaten something from half the stalls here, Koga-kun." While the two of you walked, you spotted a boy dressed as a headless ghost, holding a sign that said 'Haunted House' in bloody letters. You lit up in excitement.

"There, Koga-kun! let's go to the Haunted House!" You pulled him over, grinning like a madman. Koganei stood white-faced.

"I-I don't think I want to go, (Your name)." He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Please?" You made the cutest face you could do, pouting your lips, "I'll buy you any food you want."

He took one look at you and sighed, "Fine, but there's that takoyaki stall over there and-"

"I got, I got it, you can have as much takoyaki as you want." Dragging him over to the entrance, you paid for two tickets, laughing at the guy's fake, bloody hand.

The two of you entered in quietly. A ghostly sound emitted from the right, causing Koganei to hold your hand on instinct. Fake cobwebs decorated the walls and fake blood (you were hoping it was fake) dripped down the plaster.

You felt something furry brush against your leg and shrieked. Koganei let go of your hand and put his arm around your waist, a sign of protection, although you knew he was equally, maybe more, terrified.

You and Koganei turned a corner into a room full of mirrors. A black figure stood in one of them, and it looked like the figure was standing behind you. The both of you turned around but there was no one there.

Once you got out of the room, the two of you walked into what looked like an abandoned storage room. Cabinets and furniture layered in dust and old, tattered cloth surrounded each of you. A ghost jumped out behind a broken, metal cabinet that was on Koganei's side and he yelled in fear, to which you hid in his chest. When he calmed down, he apologised to the ghost over and over.

The rest of the haunted house consisted of screams and a little bit of nervous laughter.

Finally, Koganei spotted light and he sighed with relief.

"Oh gosh." Once you guys got out, Koganei bent over with his hands on his knees, trying to control his wild breathing.

You laughed, taking his hand, "Come on, let's get you that takoyaki."
