Just a quick thing I wrote, may or may not continue writing it ↓
p.s it's an sao au of one of members of the kiseki no sedai - haven't figured out who yet
It was all a game. The life you lived, the words you spoke, the air you inhaled, everything was a game, a virtual world.
It was no virtual paradise, where people could escape from their responsibilities and worries, a place where people could live with no weight on their shoulders.
Where you lived was a virtual reality - too real.
It all just started as a video game, a new masterpiece that gamers could indulge themselves in. Players met, purchased, fought and levelled up.
But that wasn't what the creator was aiming for. It was never just something for enjoyment.
So he took their lives, he took everything from the real world and left them in his game.
It became life and death in a world that once was nothing but a harmless game.
-
Your father always told you - if I had never played this damn game, we wouldn't be living this life, you wouldn't have to live in a terrible world like this.
But it was too late for him to regret having you and regret meeting your mum. It was too late to regret entering a place he could never leave. He had been etched into this world, a figure of the first generation.
And it was too late for you. You were born as a person who should've never existed in the first place, you had no idea there were people living normally in a different world to you - but normal for you was demons and skilled fighting.
Even so, your father never wanted to leave. Because if this virtual world ever crumbled to nothing, he'd wake up broken and dying.
And you would've disappeared.
hope you liked it! feedback?

| Akashi Seijuro |
Maybe it was foolish to fall in love with the boy that walked with fire in his eyes and words as sharp as the blade of the scissors he favoured.
The boy who convinced everyone he was to be answered and obeyed.
He was the emperor, the ruler who only settled for fear and only liked victory.
Maybe it was reckless to spend time watching practice that you had sneaked into because he never allowed others to enter beside the members.
But what was there to be scared of when he gazed at you with eyes that only held love and words that melted your confidence?
Why did you have to run away when Akashi Seijuro held you tight in his arms when it was just the two of you?
-
Please, (your name), leave our relationship as a secret.
Why did you have to do that? Why did you have to hide the love you held for him?
That's ridiculous, there is no way I'm doing that.
It was ridiculous. It was a stupid idea and he held false hope to think that you were ever going to go along with what he asked.
Why are you being like this?
Because you loved him. You wanted every girl that pined for him and longed to be looked at with those blazing eyes to know that he was yours and only yours.
Why are you being like this?
It was a simple retaliation that you never regretted saying. He was asking crazy things and expecting too much from a stubborn, love-struck girl.
You can't even answer me. What - are you afraid that people will look down on you?
He looked at you with begging eyes, ones that didn't tell enough, ones that held secrets that he was selfishly claiming. And you stared back, sharp eyes that glared and said I'm not backing down.
You're being childish.
Not everything is yours.
He was being idiotic and it was you or nothing, because being in a relationship that was kept a secret was too far for you to comply to.
You're relationship with Seijuro worsened after your argument. The two of you began to drift apart. He buried himself in training and you lost yourself in sleepless nights and schoolwork.
You'd show up with deep eye bags and drowned yourself with coffee and tea. You felt hollow, empty without Akashi's touch, his kisses that made you dizzy and his romantic words that made you smile a smile only for him.
You'd pass him in the hallways, eyes looking anywhere but him, face pale with your lips taunt in a straight line. And him, his captivating looks that were messy and nothing like it once was before.
The fire in his eyes that you had loved so much began to die.
Slowly you lost contact, and it became like you and Akashi had never known each other, had never loved each other.
And you started to forget the boy that had once convinced you to give up everything.
-
You couldn't tell if it was just you and your imagination, but everyone began to shy away from you. People began to stare and whisper.
What's going on?
The table you sat at in the library became empty, everyone became quieter the second you appeared and it was frustrating.
Curiosity got the better of you and you approached a classmate. He immediately moved away the moment you got closer.
"Do you know why everyone's avoiding me?" He looked startled and alarmed that you had talked to him and quickly glanced around, as if he was making sure someone was not around.
"He will kill me if he sees me talking to you." Your classmate whispered, trying to look like he was doing work instead of speaking to you.
"Uh.." You tapped his shoulder, "Who's he?"
Your classmate looked up at you like you were delirious, "Akashi Seijuro.. Who else are you the girlfriend of?"
You stood speechless, thoughts running through your head only to be replaced with countless questions.
"Girl..friend?"
Running out of the classroom and heading towards the gym, where he would most likely be at, you slammed the door open to see him dunk a basketball perfectly, his feet landing skilfully.
"What's this about me being your girlfriend?" You stormed over toward the courts, his back still turned towards you.
"Why is everyone thinking you'll kill them?" He still hadn't responded to you or even moved from his position.
"Answer me, Seijuro!" He turned instantly from you using his first name, eyes glazing over.
"You are my girlfriend, aren't you?" He took a step towards you, causing you to take one back.
"Are you sure about that?" You struggled to keep your voice strong.
"Last time I checked, we hadn't broken up." He stated, taking another step forward.
You stood frozen, so many words wanting to be said but your lips didn't move. Akashi took hold of your hand, connecting his forehead to yours.
"Can't you see? What everyone is doing to you is exactly what I was afraid of. You deserve everything in the world, and I'll protect you until my last breath."
