A month after his departure

Don't worry, babe, I'm going to come back.

That was the last words you heard from him before he boarded a flight to America. His regretful gaze haunted you when you lay in bed at night. All you could think about was Nijimura's goodbye to you and the short, sweet kiss he left you to keep. But the words he said gave you hope, and so you let his sad voice lull you to sleep.

3 months after his departure

They all noticed it. Kise tried to cheer you up with his goofy faces and Kuroko did everything to turn your frown upside down, but nothing worked. Midorima and Murasakibara disliked the hollowness he left in you and Akashi spent his free time trying to contact NIjimura, but there was no change. And Aomine stopped hitting on you. But nothing got rid of the tears you shed when you made your way home.

A year after his departure

They all coaxed you to come with them to their individual high schools. But you didn't want to go with them. Whenever you saw one of the boys, all you could think about was Nijimura. You knew you were stupid for letting it get to you, but the torture of his departure was slowly killing you.

I know it's really short ^^' I don't think I write Nijimura one shots well... I might write a part two, if you guys don't think this is enough to calm you fangirl souls .
