The night was cold, I could hear the wispy whispering. I followed them down a path. Step after step they lead me into eternal darkness. The night danced around me, the stars glistened, and the moon was dead. I jumped into the night sky and fell endlessly until I reached the bottom. Cool water encased my essence and forever bid me from returning to the surface. I was finally free.
