I was running in the midnight rain, away from everything I know. I didn't dare look back if I did the overwhelming fear would befall me. Is outside better and kinder to someone such as me? it's either now or never! I have to find my sisters and hopefully we will be reunited once again. "Ouch!" I trip over a tree root, this forest seems to never end. "Ugh!" The tree branches scratch up my skin. I have to continue, I have no time to stop or they will catch me. It's so cold and I'm exhausted I don't know how much farther I can go.
Swiftly I end up dodging a tree only to run into another one which causes me to fall. "Darn it!" I have to get up but I'm so tired "someone please help me" I whimper, I can't stop the tears. I have failed I'll never leave I'm far to weak! They will find me and drag me back to him. The monster who took everything away. I shiver, I can't go back I just can't live like that anymore! I slowly pull myself up with help from the trees, I slowly move my legs forward I suppose that's better than the alternative. I don't know how I've walked but I know I'm at my limit, I can't go any farther I need to find a place to hide and rest for awhile. Hopefully I got far enough where it'll be hard to find me. I see a little black shadow ahead perhaps it's something I can use. As I walk closer I notice it's a pile of sticks that bear a whole big enough for a person to lay under. This will suffice I'll wait here untill morning and I'll start my journey again. I get under with lots of difficulties my hair kept getting caught between the twigs. Exhaustion kicks over and I shut my eyes.
