I won't make promises nor will I make vows, because I know my limits and desires
From the beginning it was a silent backdrop, filled with colours
But as the time progressed it changed to something unfathomable
Yet, here we stand with confessions and seriousness
If you allow yourself to take me as I am, I shall do the same for you
There is no such need for assurance if we have trust in one another
I can fill these pages of endless words of love and hope, but they’d be little in meaning
I chose to say “yes” of my own will, and I shall say “yes” once more today
