"I'm home!" Molly smiles as she walks through the door.

"Mummy!" Lily yells and runs into Molly's arms.

"Hi, baby. How are you?"

"I'm good."

"Good. Did you and Daddy have fun?"

"Mhm. On Thursday we got Chinese food and laid in bed while we ate!"

"You did?" Molly says, eyes wide. "Well there better not be a mess or else Daddy's getting a beating. I just changed those sheets!"

"They're clean," Tom quickly says, jogging down the stairs. "I promise."

"Good. How was your last few days?"

"Pretty good," Tom kisses his wife on the cheek, causing Molly to close her eyes as she wraps her arm around him.

"I need to talk to you."

"About what?"

"You lost weight." Molly says.

"No, I didn't."

"Yes, you did. You feel smaller."

"I didn't lose any weight, I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure," Tom stresses. "Everything is fine."

"Good. Listen, I need to talk to you about something too."

"Is it work? What happened?"

Molly pulls Tom off to the side. "I need you to watch Lily again on Monday. I'm sorry that I keep leaving you alone with her but I'm getting a procedure done and-"

"Procedure? What?"

"I was having some pain so I saw a doctor Thursday night. I called you but you didn't answer."

"Daddy?" Lily says. "It's Mummy."

"Don't pick up, darling, I'll get it later. Daddy still doesn't feel good."

"Pain? Where?"

"Lower abdomen. There's a mass in my ovaries. The doctor is fairly confident that it's a cyst and I have nothing to worry about. She just wants me to be safe so I'm getting a biopsy."

"Molly, n-no-"

"Don't worry about it, I'm perfectly fine. My doctor even told me that I shouldn't worry about anything because the chances of an issue are really slim."

"I... I... I don't know what... what to say."

"That you'll watch Lily on Monday." Molly shrugs and places a hand in his shoulder. "That's all I'm asking you to you. There's not even anesthesia, just a lot of pain killers. I'll be fine Monday afternoon."

"Well I need to go with you." Tom says.

"No, no. I can drive, I'll be fine."

"You're not driving. What if you're sick?"

"Thomas, really, if I thought I was, I'd be honest with you. I experienced pain once. The doctor said that if it was a proper tumor, I'd be in a lot more pain."

"What if it's early?"

"Like they caught it early?"

"Mhm."

"That's good because they can get it out and I'll be fine."

"What... what about you? I mean, you know, the placement of it."

"We're done having kids anyway."

"I know but... the... option is taken away."

"Tom, we had this discussion the first time you wanted kids, you won't let me touch you. We talked about how we were done anyway. I don't want another one."
