4 years after SOTT
After being released from the hospital, Tom did 3 months of bi-weekly therapy. He turned his pain into music and released an album called Stronger, which quicky became a top seller. He donated 20% of the profits to RAINN, and saved the rest for their family.
6 months after the album released, Molly fell pregnant with their daughter, Lillian. It was a shocking but yet happy surprise. Although they were trying, they thought that it would take awhile.
Tom was terrified the first time but Molly was very gentle and understanding, which calmed him down immensely.
The years following, the couple was only intimate about 3 or 4 times a year, but Molly was very proud of Tom because when they did do it, it was worry free and Tom was comfortable around his wife again.
Their daughter had a mixed accent. Her mother is Irish, her father is English, and she's American.
When she had first started talking, the only people she was really around was her a family, so she had a strong accent. As she got older and started to go to school, it got lighter but was still there.
Tom and Molly would laugh and make bets to see which words sounded like which accent, because her tone changed 3 times throughout a simple sentence.
Although he didn't attend regular therapy, Molly made Tom promise that if he ever felt bad again, to go see Dr. Olsen. He'd been to her a few times after Lily turned 2.
While filming a movie, Tom used Jameson to help him fall asleep at night. He was so stressed from the filming and publicity that it helped take the edge off. In the morning, he'd add a little to his coffee as an extra wake up agent but it got bad to which he'd drink it every other hour or he'd feel sick. No one had ever seen Tom drunk, and that continued, but it was noticeable that he started depending on alcohol to get through the day.
When he got home, Molly quickly discovered his problem and made him quit and see Dr. Olsen.
He didn't want to be away from his wife and daughter, so he quit cold turkey at home. The first week was hard and Molly was scared that she'd have to bring him to the hospital because alcohol withdrawal is not an easy thing to do, but he was alright.
These past two years have been surprisingly fantastic. After Tom for over his drinking problem, the family was very happy and are all very close.
Lily is close to both of her parents, and Tom and Molly have a happy, healthy, marriage.
Tom stands outside of Lillian's school. At first, the other parents were in awe of who it was, and now Tom was just the dad that buys the gift cards for school raffles.
"Daddy!" Lily yells and runs to Tom, her backpack swaying in the air.
"Hello, my little bug," Tom chuckles and takes the girl in his arms. "How was school?"
"It was good."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah. I drew a bunny."
"You did? That's fun."
"It was."
Tom opens the car door and Lily gets inside. He straps her in and enters on the passanger's side. "What do you want to listen to, kid?"
