"You haven't touched your eggs." Molly says.

"I'm not eating this morning." Tom replies.

"Emma, would you please take Lily for a walk?"

"Of course. Come on, kid." Emma awkwardly smiles and grabs her niece's hand.

" I made you this nice breakfast and you need to eat."

"I don't need it."

"Everyone needs food, of course you do."

"Fine, I don't deserve it."

"You don't deserve it? That's insane."

"Look at yourself in the mirror, Molly. There's a large bruise on your cheek because I hit you. Your husband hit you and you're sitting here like it's fine."

"Thomas, as I already said, if I thought you did a consciously I would have thrown you out at 2:00 a.m. you've been having horrible night terrors ever since you saw that guy who looked like Matt. This isn't your fault you were protecting yourself."

"Against you?" Tom snaps. "Who was I protecting myself against?"

"Matt!" Molly yells. "You were absolutely terrified. After I got you in the bed, you didn't know who I was but you were clinging to me because you were so scared he was going to hurt you. You were sleepwalking and that's what was happening, you were having a flashback. I got too close to you and that's when you hit me. It's not your fault."

"Of course it's my fault, it was my fist wasn't it?"

"I've accidentally bumped any when you've gotten bruises on your arm. Does that mean that I hit you?"

"No but you were the one who bumped into me, it's your fault. Of course I'm not mad about it but it's still your fault."

"This is different. It was an accident."

"Right. That's like Matt saying everything you did was an accident. It wasn't an accident that I hit you."

"That is an evil person who loved hurting you. It is a completely different situation. You would never hurt me."

"You say that now, Molly, but look at yourself in the mirror."

"I'm not talking about this, eat."

Tom gets up from the table and starts to head up the stairs.

"Where are you going?" Molly says.

"To pack a bag," Tom replies.

"For where? Where are you going to go? You have nowhere to stay. You're not leaving this house, sit down."

"I'm going back to Oakwood, Molly."

"What? No you're not."

"I have no choice. It's extremely dangerous for me to be here with you and Lily. What if I'm home alone with her and I have a nightmare and she runs into my room and I end up hurting her? I could never live with myself if I hurt her."

"That wouldn't happen, Tom."

"Up until last night you would have said the same about yourself."

"Those are two completely different things."

"You're being quite confusing, dear. If this was supposedly an accident, then why couldn't it accidentally happened to Lily? Or would not have it totally because deep down you know I did this on purpose?"

"You didn't do it on purpose we both know that. You would never hurt me."

"Please stop saying that because it's clearly not true. I already feel bad enough about myself and now you're denying it. Just scream at me, throw me out of the house, whatever you want. I just need you to stop forgiving me."

"I already forgive you but it's really not your fault."

"Your denial makes it so much harder."

"The fact that you don't remember doing it should say something. You're not commiting yourself."

"I'm at risk of hurting you both. I have flashbacks every day now. Someone says something simple and it's like a movie plays in my head. I want it I be over."

"Then go to Dr. Olsen."

"You're usually picking my bag for me." Tom snaps.

"I don't think this is in your best interest right now."

"Well I do. I'm scared all the time, Molly. Everything is stressful and I don't feel safe. Lillian deserves better than this."

"Tom, honey, please. Take some time to think about this."

"You litterally tried forcing me to go to the hospital when I was cutting. Why is this so different?"

"Because you don't need to go."

"My mental health up to your convenience, isn't it?"

"Of course not." Molly snaps. "I want you to be healthy but-"

"But you don't. You yell whenever I'm sick and you complain when I try to fix it. What do you want from me?"

"Just stay home, please."

"You're not safe if I'm home."

"You won't hurt me, Tom."

"I already did." Tom screams. "I hurt you and I going to do it to Lily next. I can't be here."

"Is the only reason you want to go Oakwood because you're scared that you'll hurt us?"

"I-... I don't know."

"Please take a break," Molly gently says. "Eat your breakfast."

"I'm not hungry."

"You have to eat. You'll get sick if you don't eat."

"It's much to late for that concern."

"Lily needs her Dad."

"She'll be fine." Tom says. "She's better without be being present. She knows I love her, that's all that matters."

"That's not true, Thomas. She loves you so much, she just wants you to be here, that's all that matters."

"If she's not safe around me-"

"You're being ridiculous." Molly snaps.

"What I'm not? What if she gets hurt?"

"Trust me, Thomas, she's safe with you."

"She got hurt when I was drunk."

"And you're not drunk now. Everything is fine, baby, trust me."

The front door slowly opens. Emma sticks her head through and looks inside. "Can we come in?"

"Yes," Molly says. "Tom and I were just about to eat."

"I-" Tom starts to say.

"Do you want anymore"

"No, thank you." Emma smiles.

"Daddy," Lily says and walks up to Tom.

"Y-Yes, dear?"

"Can you hold me?"

Tom looks around and hesitantly picks up his daughter. Lily wraps her legs around Tom's torso and tightly holds onto her. "Are you okay? What's wrong?"

"I asked Auntie why we had to leave and she said that you and Mummy had grown up things to talk about."

"Oh, darling, everything is fine." Tom replies and holds his daughter. His hand holds the back of her head, gently swaying back and forth. "I love you so much," Tom's voice breaks as he speaks.

"I love you too, Daddy." Lily replies. "Why's re you crying?"

"Oh, no... no reason. Let's eat, yeah?"
