I sighed heavily thinking that there will be games to happen again na posibleng may groupings.

Tirik na ang araw kaya mas lalong nahalata ang excitement sa mukha ng mga kasama ko. Nakaramdam ako ng titig mula sa tabi ko kaya lumingon ako. Caleb was staring at me like he was... digging every secret that my eyes hide. 

I looked away as I felt the awkwardness that slowly crept inside me. Hindi ko namalayang nakatabi ko pala siya.

"Ayieee, sana all," bulong sa 'kin ni Venice. Parang nabingi ako sa bulong niyang parang sigaw kaya agad kong tinakpan ang magkabilang tenga ko na ikinatawa niya lang.

"Listen, everyone. The purpose of these Youth Ministry games is to give you, us, a chance to belong to a group that wants to have fun, and is also interested in building faith, and a relationship with Jesus Christ. The games on the list of our secretary are not just typical games, it is called as faith games. After the demonstration or play in each game, there will be a follow-up lesson that would be discussed and you can share what lesson you have learned as well," Kuya Aiden announced again.

Nandito na kami ngayon sa buhanginan malapit sa dagat nakaupo. The fresh and clean air was embracing us, and the clean seashore in front of us was calming me, and I know for sure, they were being calmed by it as well. I slowly bury my foot into the white and powdery soft sand. Palihim ko ring nilalaro ang mga ito.

This is my first time being in an island. When we got here earlier, it feels like I just discovered a new world, a new paradise to be exact where I can finally have a peace of mind. Away from home that doesn't feel like one. Away from my constant questions about my life. 

The youth leaders were in the center and we encircled them. Mataman at taimtim lang akong nakikinig habang ang iba ay nakangiting nagbubulungan.

Based on Kuya Aiden's announcement, I know for sure that this recreation of team building is gonna be enjoyable and euphoric because the games are connected to strengthening the faith in God with its lessons. 

"Reminders first before the actual start of the games. First, no put-downs or negative things can be said or done to any other person. The goal of these games is for every person to feel a part of the group. Winning is not important as supporting and encouraging each other to live our faith in Jesus Christ. Kahit hindi ka man manalo o ang grupo ninyo, it doesn't matter as long as you are able to learn a lesson from it," sunod na nagsalita ang youth leader VP sa Parish.

"In my opinion, being a winner of these games with negative things had been said or done will not be a memorable. It isn't comparable to learning a lesson that is connected to Jesus Christ. Learning things is better than winning because we can apply it eternally in our lives," he continued.

Most of them smiled. My heart smiled that was caused by his words. He's right.

"Remember the Bible verse 1 Timothy 4:12, Do not let anyone look down upon you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity," he added.

"Second, any group member whose behavior becomes a problem for other group members will be taken aside to be warned about behaviors that need to be changed. Lastly, if the problem behavior continues, and becomes a negative force for the Youth Ministry group or the leaders, to us, that person will be asked to sit out of the games for a few minutes. When the person is ready to join games with a better behavior, he or she may rejoin the games." The secretary was the one who talked next.
