Chapter 60

Last Chapter

I took a profound breath and smiled when I looked at my reflection in the mirror.

My hair was in a full bun with a white hairdress encircled at the end of it that was currently shining like it was gleeful for being crafted on the hair of the happiest woman on earth today. I was still wearing a bathrobe because I will wear my wedding gown later.

I quickly smiled at her.

She was the one who offered to be my make-up artist and wedding gown designer on this day. I requested a light make-up at her. She's a well-known designer and already has a well-known store.

"Thank you, Ate."

"You will always bloom when it's him. Can't believe that time flew that quick."

Nginitian ko lang siya sa salamin. I was smiling since I woke up, but there's a slight nervousness that hidden. Caleb and I didn't see each other yesterday for 24 hours to follow the tradition.

"Ate Yesha! Kapalan mo ang make-up ng bride, ha?" Venice chuckles swiftly filled the entire room.

They were wearing vintage dresses. I chose that color as a theme of my wedding.

I frowned as I remembered her saying that on our graduation day back in junior high, and ate Yesha was our make-up artist that time, too.

It feels nostalgic...

And there... I saw my wedding gown.

It was very conservative as what I've always wanted to wear. I just requested a simple yet elegant gown. It was a stand collar long sleeve temperament exquisite gown. It was detailed with its simple designs.

Ate Yesha told me that while weaving this gown of mine, she poured all her emotions by gleefully reminiscing on how did Caleb and I started because she was one of the witnesses, too.

When I went out, Venice's eyes swiftly traced on mine. I saw mixed emotions in there. She... cried. She went towards me, and held my shoulders, eyeing me from head to toe.

"Ashia, ikakasal ka na! Oh my gosh..." She pouted, and there were tears that cascaded on her cheeks. Ngumiti ako at niyakap siya.

"Please don't shed tears. I might do it, too..." I breathed deeply.

"Congrats... Walang masasaktang mag-isa..." She was now sobbing on my shoulder, the reason why I caressed her back.

"Uy, pasali! Group hug!" Micah blurted which made the others agreed, and they joined us.

"Hoy, moment namin 'to ng bride! Tsupe!"

After our the group hug, Venice put the veil on me.

My sole companion towards the car we'll be riding on was the wedding organizer which is Laira, Mama Lucie's niece.
