Guys! Tomorrow daw, magmimisa si Father sa Tan-wan Peak sa Brgy. Plaridel. Sama kayo? Sama tayo! Pupunta rin daw ang ibang youth na taga ibang Barangay, e! May sasama rin daw na church servers at mga semenarista.

Napaisip ako sa biglaang chat ni Ate Yesha sa GC. Posts about Tanawan Peak havé often been on my news feed ever since last week from my from my Facebook friends who have been there.

Maganda raw doon mag-hiking dahil sobrang ganda ng view. I can see that on the pictures that were posted, though. Based on their feedbacks, the mentioned Peak is a perfect place to have a peace of mind alone.

Kailangang alas singko ng umaga raw ay pupunta na sa Brgy. Plaridel dahil ang start ng hiking ay 6:00 AM. Sabay raw tayong lahat na gustong um-attend ng mass at sumama. We should bring bags that consist of a lot of water, snacks, and foods for lunch kasi base rin sa post or experience ng iba na nakapunta na roon, it took them 2 hours and more before they were able to reach the best vantage view of the site. Sa mga gusto lang namang sumama.

Maraming excited na nag-reply, marami rin ang nalungkot dahil hindi pinayagan ng mga magulang.

Marami ang nag-haha react at nag 'sana all'. Since we're comfortable already to be vocal about our relationship with them, hindi na kami nahihiya sa tuwing napag-uusapan ang tungkol sa amin.

Nang dumating ang hapunan ay nagpaalam ako sa mga magulang ko. They both agreed when I told them who will be my companions there. Panatag din sila dahil anytime raw ay magpapaalam si Caleb sa kanila at isa ito sa mga kasama ko bukas.

Pagkatapos ng hapunan ay umakyat ako sa k'warto ko. I was about to prepare things for tomorrow when suddenly, my phone vibrated. Someone's calling. Sinagot ko agad ito nang makitang si Caleb iyon.

"Hello..." I first spoke. Narinig ko ang mabigat niyang paghinga kaya kinabahan agad ako. "Is there a problem?" I quickly asked.

"W-Wala, Julienne... Ah, sasama ka ba bukas sa Tan-awan Peak? Kung sasama ka, sasama rin ako..." Pilit niyang pinapasigla ang boses niya kahit alam kong parang may problema siya. Pansin ko rin ang panginginig ng boses nito.

"I won't answer that question of yours if you won't tell me your problem first," I coldly said.

Hindi agad ako nakarinig ng sagot mula sa kaniya.

"Hey?"

"P-Pwedeng sa susunod na araw pagkatapos bukas na lang? Gusto kong mag-enjoy muna tayo roon, eh. Can you do that favor of mine?"

Napapikit ako bago tumango kahit hindi niya nakikita. I'm worried. Really worried. Based on his voice, I can feel his ponderous breaths. I badly want to know it right now, but what if... he's not yet really ready?

"Okay... Always remember that I'm here, okay? I don't want to steal the enjoyment that you want for tomorrow, so... yes, I can do that favor of yours."

"Thank you... Sabay tayo bukas, ha? Magpapalaam pa ako sa mga magulang mo ngayon. Pupunta ako riyan bukas mga alas kuwatro ng umaga."

There's really a hint of sadness in his voice... but for his favor and for him, I'll try not to think about it again.

"Okay. Kantahan at tugtugan kita? Like how you make me feel at ease whenever I'm the one who breaks down..." Pumunta agad ako sa harapan ng piano ko at nilagay ang phone malapit dito. I also clicked the loud speaker button of it.
