"YOU TOOK HER ON A WITCH HUNT?" Elijah asked in disbelief. Klaus and Leviana raised their heads from the books they were reading.
"To clarify, Klaus was the one who took her, not me." Leviana smiled innocently.
"I simply wanted to persuade those witches to locate the White Oak stake for me." Klaus said. Originally, Leviana was supposed to be looking for it, but someone was blocking her from locating it. "When they proved unable to do so... I let Hayley have her fun."
"She grows more savage by the day. Can you two not see that she is falling apart?" Elijah asked with disappointment laced in his tone.
"I think the problem isn't Niklaus' assistance but it's your high standers. Hayley is part vampire. Being a vampire only exaggerates what you truly are... and wolves tend to be aggressive." Leviana said, earning a look from Klaus, "am I wrong?"
"She knows she can never live up to the picture you paint of her in your head." Klaus spoke up, looking back down in his book, "your judgement only hurts her more."
"I am trying to help her." Elijah said calmly. "And I asked the both of you too as well."
Klaus slammed his book shut and stood up. "I am helping. You should've seen her last night, covered in witches blood and smiling from ear to ear. She is embracing this. A little less criticism from you, and Hayley will be just fine."
"Niklaus, the mother of your child deserves much better than 'just fine'!" Elijah snapped.
"Elijah," Leviana started, "she's a vampire now. When vampires first turn, our emotions get twisted. We've all experienced it. Rebekah began to live off of passion. You, Elijah, somehow became this big, suit wearing blob of morality. Kol became mischievous and thrived off of mayhem. Finn went into self loathing. Klaus went into anger while I went into anger and despair."
"But do you know what we all had in common when we first turned? We killed. Even you. Every vampire will." She finished, standing up.
"She doesn't have to, not as long as you help her."
"Of course she does!" Leviana exclaimed, "if she takes out her anger now, she'll be better in the long run. If she keeps it bottled up, like your so he'll bent on making her do, one day, she'll explode."
"You saw what happened to me when you tried to help me control my emotions after we fled home. And because of that, villages burned, people were slaughtered. I'd prefer if Hayley didn't down that path."
