Nini walked into Starbucks hoping that Andrew had another morning shift. She thought maybe she could get his number or social media, and she should get to know him better.

She decided that she needed to at least try to get over Ricky, especially after what happened last night.

Flashback
Nini stood with Gina dumbfounded attempting to process what exactly just happened with Ricky.

She definitely wasn't complaining because she actually liked it. It was the closest she'd ever gotten to him and she'd be lying if she said she didn't miss his touch.

As soon as he released her from his touch she felt the cool air hit her skin and immediately missed his touch.

"Earth to Nini" Gina said waiving her hand in front of Nini's face in the efforts to get her attention

"Sorry I was just um, thinking" Nini said as she snapped back into reality

"I was just saying how I'm tired of the way Ricky constantly plays with girls' emotions. I mean I can't help but feel bad for them" Gina said and nervousness filled Nini's body.

Did she know something about what just happened? There was no way because they separated before she came in.

"Where's this coming from? I mean I know you've talked about this before but why now?" Nini asked in attempts to get an answer out of Gina without being too straightforward

"I saw Lindsey in the driveway when I was carrying in the pizza. I know she's here for Ricky, and she should be coming in at any second." Gina said in an irritated tone

Nini couldn't help but to feel a bit jealous. She knew that the moment her and Ricky just shared probably meant nothing and he was just trying to prove a point but she absolutely hated the thought of Ricky with other girls.

"I just-I'm just glad that we don't have to deal with that. I mean,you made that promise to me that you'd never date him. Plus you don't like him anyway" she laughed taking a bite out of her pizza "I didn't know back then but it's definitely serving as a protection for both of us. I don't want to see you get your feelings hurt and I definitely don't wanna lose my best friend" she smiled taking Nini in for a hug.

Nini's jealousy turned into guilt. She didn't exactly know how but she just needed to figure out how to make this little crush on Ricky go away.

Just then the doorbell rang and everyone knew it was Lindsey. Ricky went to the door opening it with a smile and leading her to his room

'I gotta get over Ricky' Nini thought

Flashback over

"I can take who's next" the cashier said taking Nini out of her thoughts. She plastered a smile on her face, and stepped up to the register.

"Nini right?" Andrew said with a smile, and Nini's smile slightly widened at the fact that Andrew actually remembered her name

"Yeah"

"Well you have a really pretty smile nini" Andrew said slightly above a whisper. He knew his manager would kill him if she heard him say that

Nini giggled and covered her face as she blushed lightly "thanks"

"So uh, will you be having the same thing as yesterday?" He asked and Nini nodded. He input her order into the system before she scanned her app and proceeded to the other side of the restaurant to get her coffee.

As she picked up her coffee she noticed writing on the cup. The writing said 'call me 567-891-0112'

Nini looked back at the register where Andrew winked with a smile, which she returned and went back out to her car to head to school.

It was nearing 2am and Nini was at Gina's house as usual. Gina was fast asleep next to her phone that had Ej on FaceTime and Nini found herself becoming thirsty.

He headed to the kitchen hoping to grab something quick to drink and head back to the room when she saw Ricky sitting outside of the patio.

"What are you doing out here so late?" She asked catching him off guard but he didn't move an inch "I mean don't you have another girl to entertain or something?" She threw in earning a chuckle from Ricky

"Jealous?" He asked looking back at Nini

"Never" she laughed, as her heart was beating out her chest. Ricky was looking her directly in the eyes and she was looking into his until she tore her eyes away from his

"Come, sit. I wanna show you something" Ricky said and Nini hesitantly took the seat next to him.

"I've always admired how, from out here you get a perfect view of the stars. Stars have fascinated me since I was little though, because just like us no one is the same. Each one is unique in its own way" Ricky said to her admiring the stars

She couldn't help but wonder why he wasn't like this all the time. When he was at school, or even around her at home he'd act like he didn't care about anything, yet here he was admiring the stars.

"Wow, I never thought of it like that" Nini said looking at the stars with awe

"Yeah, I've been trying to save up for a telescope for a while. We have a pretty good view of the stars from here but I just know it's even more beautiful when taking a closer look at them"

"Your parents never got you one?" Nini asked. Ricky and Gina's parents were pretty wealthy. They weren't the wealthiest in the town, but they were up there.

Ricky shook his head "they were convinced that my star gazing was a phase so they didn't see the point in getting me a telescope. They thought it'd go to waste" Ricky said earning a frown from Nini

"Well I hope you can get one soon" Nini smiled before focusing her attention back on the stars.

"Thanks Nini, you're not so bad after all" he joked with a smile

"I'm gonna take that as a compliment?" She said with a laugh as Ricky joined her laughing

"I should probably get back to my room before the girl sleeping in there wakes up" Ricky said and Nini's eyes quickly widened

"Joking! I'm just joking Neens" he laughed and her face softened

'Neens?' She thought

"You wanna head in too?"

"Nahh, I think I'm gonna look at the stars a little while longer. I'll be in soon"

"Alright, Goodnight Nini"

"Goodnight Ricky" she smiled before focusing her attention back on the stars
