"Nini you don't think you're—"

"Maybe?" Nini said looking at the curly headed boy with worried eyes. Tears began to well up into her eyes as she wondered what she was going to do.

Ricky noticed the girls state and instantly wrapped his arms around her letting her know that everything would be okay, that he'd be there for her.

"We'll figure this out Nini. Together. Everything will be okay" he told her before placing a soft kiss on her forehead

"How will everything be okay Ricky? I'm 17 years old. I'm nowhere near ready for a baby" she cried "and how will your sister react? When she finds out that I'm pregnant with her brother's baby she'll never forgive me. God I'm so stupid"

"We just have to take it one step at a time. Before we worry about how she'll react, let's see if we're pregnant first. All this worrying may be for nothing."

"You're right" Nini sniffled "it's probably nothing and I'm just stressed" Nini said trying to convince herself that's what was going on

"Now come on, you can use all the sleep you can get" Ricky said helping Nini up.

"I uh I think I should brush my teeth first" she told Ricky and he nodded before heading out of the bathroom.

After exiting the bathroom he raked his fingers through his head trying to figure out what they would do if she actually was pregnant.

He wouldn't mind Nini being the mother of his child, in fact he'd love if Nini was the mother of his child but not now. He was 18, and had his entire life ahead of him. He was way too young for a child.

He felt a small tear escape from his eye, but quickly wiped it away wanting to be strong for Nini. She'd be out the bathroom at any time.

He took a deep breath before repeating what he said to Nini to himself. He got himself situated in the bed as he waited for Nini's arrival.

After Nini finished brushing her teeth and hoped to calm her nerves down slightly. She grabbed her calendar finding the date that her last period started.

As she calculated when she should've started her period she realized she was 2 weeks late. At that point she felt that there was no need for a test. All the signs were pointing to pregnancy and she had no idea what she was going to do.

She slid down the bathroom wall and began to cry. She couldn't believe that this was happening to her. That she actually might be pregnant.

After a few minutes of crying she took a breath and gathered herself back together stepping into her room. She plastered a smile on her face as she noticed Ricky looking over at her with a slight smile on his face.

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine" Nini lied. Multiple thoughts were running wild through her head and she couldn't stop them. She couldn't shake the thought that she actually might be pregnant.

"Come on, let's get some sleep" Ricky said bringing Nini over to her bed which she got in. After Ricky joined her she snuggled into his chest feeling the warmth of Ricky's body take over her immediately

"我对不起我的爱" Ricky whispered in nini's hear before placing a soft kiss on the top of her head and drifting off to sleep.

Nini tiredly walked into the school building still not being able to get her mind off the whole situation.

She barely slept a wink last night because her mind was running wild mostly trying to combined herself that she wasn't pregnant, but that didn't go very well.

"Hey Nini" Gina said excitedly as Nini approached her locker

"Oh h-hi Gi w-what are you uh doing here?" Nini stuttered.

"What are you talking about?" Gina laughed "we meet here everyday before school. Are lockers are literally right next to each other" Gina said. This only increased her worry about Nini. There's no reason that Nini should've been surprised by Gina standing at the lockers. It's something they did everyday

"Oh ye-yeah you're right I just um I forgot. Well I gotta go" Nini stuttered before walking off facepalming herself. For some reason she couldn't think straight around her best friend. Maybe her guilt was finally surfacing and she felt bad for lying to her for all this time.

Or maybe it was the fact that she knows she's going to find out about her brother and her best friend really soon if Nini actually is pregnant.

"How could this happen to me?" Nini asked herself before heading into her first period class, which she wasn't able to pay attention to because her wandering mind.

After school Nini was on her way to her car, but was stopped by Gina.

"Nini wait up!" Gina yelled after her best friend "are you coming to my house today? It seems like forever since you've been over"

"I- I cant Gi. Not today. I have to um I have to study."

"Oh-okay, I guess I'll see you later then" Gina said sadly and Nini gave her a sad smile

"Yeah, maybe tomorrow" Nini said before stepping in her car and making her way home but not before stopping at the nearest drug store.

Ricky was supposed to meet her at her house so that they can take the test together. Ricky truly meant it when he told her that they were in this together.

"Okay, so it says that I'm supposed to wait 3 minutes for the results" Nini said nervously as she held the test in her shaking hands

"Okay, do you want me to be in there with you or stay out here?" Ricky asked

"Umm can you stay out here?" She asked and he nodded before she went into the bathroom.

She took a breath before taking the test as Ricky paced back and forth outside the door trying to figure out what they'd do if the test came back positive. It seemed to be the longest 3 minutes of her and Ricky's life.

After the results popped up on the little screen tears immediately came to Nini's eyes. She opened the door looking directly into Ricky's eyes and he knew the answer before she even said anything.

"It's..."
