"So" Gina says closing her locker and grabbing her books out of it "there's another party tonight"

"Another one? It seems like we're at a party every week" Nini laughed

"I know right" Gina laughed "do you wanna go?"

"I don't know Gi I'm not exactly in the 'party mood'" Nini sighed

"Is this about Andrew?" Gina asked sadly. Nini had been worried about the whole Andrew situation for a while now.

"I'm just I'm so confused. Like he kissed me after he dropped me off at home but he hasn't said anything about it"

"Why don't you bring it up? I mean you like him right?"

"Yeah but what if it was like a heat of the moment type of thing? I don't want to bring it up and everything becomes awkward"

"Nini, you're overthinking it. If you want to talk about it I really think you should go for it. If not then don't but don't let it effect your mood like this"

"You're right Gi" Nini smiled small "I'll let you know if I want to go or not"

"Alright let me know so we can ride together"

"Alright" Nini said heading off to her next class. Usually she'd see Ricky flirting or making out with some random girl but she hadn't seen it in a while. He was just standing there on his phone with his back bag tossed over one of his shoulders

Nini quickly glanced at the boy before heading to her class. Trying to keep her mind off of the curly headed boy that she'd had a crush on for years.

"Gina I really don't think you guys should go to this party." Ricky voiced after Gina told him she might be going.

"Calm down Ricky, I don't even know whether or not we're gonna go. I'm waiting for Nini to let me know if she's up for it"

"Okay let me make the decision for her, no you guys aren't going"

"Why do you even care so much? It's not like we've never been to a party before"

"I don't i just—those party's get really wild sometimes. And I'd never forgive myself if anything happened to either of you"

"We'll be fine Ricky. You'll be there and ej will be there. It's not like we'll be all alone"

"Woah woah woah, who said I was going?"

"I did, now get dressed the part starts in a few" Gina said pushing Ricky in his room and closing the door. She let out a breath of relief before she headed back into her room awaiting the call from Nini.

Nini laid in her room working on a few assignments but she wasn't able to get much done because her mind kept drifting to Andrew and Ricky.

When she was with Andrew she had an amazing time. He let her get her mind off all the drama that had consumed her over the past week and he knew how to make her smile. The downside was, he still hadn't brought it up. How were they supposed to figure out what exactly was going on between the two of them if they didn't talk about such a huge moment in their relationship.

On the other hand there was Ricky. He told Nini the words she'd been waiting to hear for as long as she could remember. She knew that even though what he did was terrible she'd always have a special place in her heart for Ricky. She'd never not love him, and that was the problem. She couldn't just let him get off so easy.

Realizing she wasn't going to be able to stop her mind from thinking about the two boys she texted Gina letting her know that she'd go to the party.
