"Okay but Toby was the original. You simply can't beat the original."

"Both of you are wrong. Tom Holland is just chefs kiss. And he's not too bad on the eyes either" Nini smirked

"You better hope Tom never comes here Ricky. He'd sweep Nini off her feet and out of your arms in 0.5 seconds"

"Tom Holland has nothing on me" Ricky said confidently "right Nini?" He said and Nini looked all around the hospital room avoiding eye contact with the curly headed boy

"This weather we're having its pretty nice right" she said trying to change the subject, and Ricky's jaw dropped

"Nini!"

"What!? Ricky you know Tom Holland has been my celebrity crush for forever. Plus the chance that I'll actually meet him is very small"

"You know, I've been told that I look like a taller, better looking version of Tom"

"By who?" Gina laughed "they lied to you"

"You know I love you" Nini kissed the boy's cheek.

"Alright here are your discharge papers Nina. Just fill those out and you'll be good to go" the doctor walked in and handed Nini the papers.

"Ugh I'm so excited to get out of here. Thank you doctor" Nini said and he smiled at her before exiting the room.

"Hey Ricky isn't prom like tomorrow night?" Gina asked as the thought came to her mind

"Yeah, but I'm not going" Ricky shrugged

"What!? What do you mean you're not going Ricky? Why would you not go?" Nini asked

"I'd rather stay with you. I mean I don't want to go to prom without you."

"Ricky you have to go. Prom is something you're going to remember forever. You're not going to skip it because of me" Nini told him. "Besides, who said you had to go without me?"

"You're just getting discharged from the hospital. I'm sure going to a dance isn't in the cards for you right now Nini. I love you and I want you to heal as fast as you can. A dance wouldn't be doing that any favours" he said

"So I'll take it easy. I won't do too much"

"And what about clothes. Neither of us have anything to wear"

"Ricky your dad has been going on and on about you going to prom since we were like 8. Im sure he has something you can wear. Probably started planning it before you were born" Gina cut in

"And for Nini?"

"We'll go dress shopping tomorrow morning. Right Gi" Nini said and Gina nodded "come on Ricky. Let's go to prom. It'll be fun"

" I don't know Nini. It just sounds really risky" he sighed

"Come on Ricky. I can't let you miss prom. There are so many memories that you'll make that you can never get back. You've sacrificed so much of your time to be here in the hospital with me, now it's time for you to let go and have fun. Please do it. For me" she begged "besides. I really wanna go"

"Okay fine" he gave in "but only if you promise me that if you're feeling even the slightest bit off, you'll let me know"

"I promise" she smiled and both Gina and Nini squealed in excitement.
