"Gi i promise I'll be fine getting ready on my own. Plus this isn't even a date" Nini said through the phone as she looked through the closet for something to wear.

Andrew asked her to hang out that night and Gina had it in her head that he was asking Nini on a date.

"What do you mean it's not a date Nini? He asked you out"

"He did not ask me out. He asked me to hang out. Two different things"

"Well you know he likes you Nini, it may as well be a date"

"But it's not" Nini laughed. Gina was more invested in her love life than she was herself. She didn't exactly want to become too deep into a relationship with someone else when she's so confused about what to do with Ricky.

"Okay well at least FaceTime me before you leave Ni, I wanna see what you came up with"

"I'll think about it" Nini said with a smile knowing the reaction that it would get out of Gina.

"Nini" Gina whined and Nini laughed

"You're making too big of a deal out of this whole thing" Nini laughed "it's just me and a friend hanging out, that's all"

"Okay but still call me though"

"Okay I'll call you" Nini said rolling her eyes playfully

"Thank you, that's all I ask" Gina smiled

"I'm about to get ready so I'll call you back later" Nini said and Gina nodded before hanging up

"Now what am I going to wear" Nini said looking at all the clothes that her closet held

"So are you finally gonna tell me what's wrong with you or are you going to just continue to sit and mope around the house like someone broke your heart or something?" Gina said to Ricky who only left his room for school and food

"How many times do I have to tell you Gina? I'm fine. I'm just tired" he said heading back to his room after his food finished in the microwave, but Gina followed him back there

"Is it what I said Ricky? Because I didn't mean it. I was just tired of you playing with those girls emotions"

"Gina how many times do I have to tell you I'm fine? I don't care about what you said to me, I just want to be left alone" Ricky said in a harsh tone but it didn't phase Gina. She was more interested in making sure that her brother was okay.

"Ricky you're obviously not okay! You're not yourself anymore! I've never seen you like this before, this isn't the Ricky I know"

"I don't want to be that Ricky anymore! That Ricky screwed everything up and only thought about himself. He hurt a lot of people because of how selfish he was and I just don't want to be like that anymore." Ricky voiced and Gina's face immediately softened. She doesn't know what exactly sparked this change in Ricky but she was happy that it did.

She knew he was going through a lot at the moment and she wishes that he didn't have to, but he was working on himself and becoming a better person which she knew would be good for him

"Look Ricky, I know it feels like you're alone in this, but you're not. I'm here and I'll always support you. You've isolated yourself from me and everyone else but if you want to change, you're gonna need some support"

"I don't deserve your support Gi. I've hurt so many people with my selfishness, I don't want you to be one of them"

"That won't happen though Ricky. You're my brother and I'm behind you through whatever. You should know that by now"
