Nini walked into school barely able to keep her eyes open. She was exhausted and the only thing she could blame it on was lack of sleep.

Work at school was really starting to pick up and she was trying her best to keep up with everything. She'd be lying if she said her sleep schedule didn't take a hit as all the work increased.

"Nini you look exhausted" Gina said when she saw the brunette girl

"Wow, thanks Gi" Nini said sarcastically grabbing the books out of her locker, but grabbed the wrong books she'd be needing

"I'm your best friend, I'm not here to lie to you. You have other friends for that" Gina laughed "and don't you have trigonometry today so why do you have your trig text book?" Gina said and Nini looked at the textbook in her head realizing that Gina was right

"You're right" Nini sleepily said placing the textbook in her locker and replacing it with the correct one

"Nini are you okay? I'm starting to get worried"

"I'm fine Gi, I'm just tired that's all" Nini yawned before closing her locker. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom before class" Nini said and Gina nodded before Nini walked off.

Gina sighed as she watched her best friend walk off. Nini had been acting weird lately and she was really worried about her best friend.

"Nini you never told me how that talk with Andrew went" Gina said as she sat her lunch tray down on the table, and taking a seat

"I know" Nini yawned. "I promise I'll tell you later, I'd just really like to use this time to take a nap" Nini said before resting her head on her folded arms, and closing her eyes

"But you said that" Gina started but paused noticing that Nini had already fallen asleep "last week" Gina sighed picking up a French fry from her tray and sticking it in her mouth

"Shes sleep again?" Ricky said taking a seat next to his sister

"Yeah" Gina sighed "you've noticed she's been doing this a lot too?" Gina asked and he nodded

"She says it's because she's tired but I know my best friend. This isn't just because she's tired. There's something else going on"

"I don't know Gi. She said she's had a bunch of school work lately right? Maybe after that calms down she'll be back to her normal self"

"She skipped our night out on Saturday Ricky. She said she needed to take a rain check because of how tired she is. Nini never does that" Gina said.

Ricky looked over at his sleeping girlfriend and couldn't help but crack a smile at how peaceful she looked while sleeping. Sleep that he knew she needed

"Give her until all the school work calms down, if she's still acting super tired then you should talk to her about it, but I honestly think that as of right now you have nothing to worry about"

"When did you become the Nini expert?" Gina laughed

"I've known her just as long as you have Gi, I've been a Nini expert" Ricky replied

"Yeah but you don't really talk to her, she's always at the house with me. I don't think I've ever seen you two hold a full conversation" Gina laughed

Little did she know

"We talk...sometimes"

"Usually it's when she's waiting for you, it's don't really deep conversation but it's conversation"

"I just hope you're right about this Ricky. I'm really worried about her" Gina said returning to her worried state
