Gina couldn't believe what she saw right in front of her. Her best friend who promised that she'd never get involved with her brother was doing just that.

She felt so many emotions going through her at once. She was angry. Angry that she was lied to by the two people who she loved most. Angry that Nini broke the promise that she made to her. But she was also hurt. Hurt that they didn't trust her enough to tell her about them.

"Gi" Nini said almost pleadingly too in shock to even change her position on Ricky and get off of him.This wasn't how she wanted Gina to find out about them.

The entire moment was overwhelming to Gina so she turned around and walked out the room.

It seemed like as soon as Gina walked out of the room Nini snapped back into reality and lifted herself off of Ricky.

"Gi wait!" She yelled hoping to catch the girl's attention chasing her out of the room.

"How could you?!" Gina yelled, tears streaming down her face. "You promised" she said almost above a whisper

"Gi I-"

"I'm so stupid. I'm so stupid. It's all making sense now. All the signs were there but I chose to ignore them because I was so convinced that my best friend would never betray me like that . The hickeys all over your neck, the way you'd take forever when you claimed you were going bathroom, the way that when you weren't here neither was he. Even Ej suspected it but I was to dumb to see it" Gina said avoiding eye contact with Nini.

Ricky stood in the corner not saying a word. He knew that when Gina got like this it was best to not say anything. Plus he didn't blame her for being upset, he would be too if he was in her position.

He felt slightly guilty for hiding everything from Gina but he knew that she would've never approved of their relationship either way.

"When I told you that I felt like you didn't wanna be friends with me anymore you were with him weren't you?" Gina said with hot tears rolling down her face.

"I thought I was pregnant" Nini mumbled

"What? Stop mumbling Nini. I don't have super hearing" Gina spat

"I thought I was pregnant" Nini said louder and Gina scoffed with disgust.

"Of course you did. I can't believe that I was so oblivious that I didn't see this before. Just-just leave Nini"

"Gi please just let me explain. We can still be best—"

"If you're about to say we can still be best friends you're more delusional than I give you credit for. You had an entire secret relationship with my brother behind my back. You had an entire pregnancy scare with my brother behind my back! You expect me to trust you after that Nini? You expect for me to stay friends with you after that?"

"Will you please let me explain? I know it looks bad but Ricky he makes me happy, happier than I've ever been before. Don't you want me to be happy?" Nini asked with tears flowing down her face. She felt like her best friend was slipping away more and more by the second. Someone she couldn't bare to lose.

"But you lied to me about it Nini! You left me completely in the dark! And now you're just a number. You're just another girl added to the list of girls who have been with Ricky Bowen. So congratulations Nini. You're just like all the other useless girls in this school."

"Gi you don't mean that—"

"My name is Gina. At least to you it is. And I do mean that. I have never had anyone who wanted to be friends with me, because of me. They always wanted to use me to get to Ricky. But you, you were the exception for me. You loved me for me and you genuinely wanted to be my best friend or so I thought."

"I'm still the same girl that you've been best friends with for years. I wasn't using you for him Gi—Gina. It just happened."

"Okay then. How long has this thing been going on?"

"About 5 months"

"So around the time we went on the house boat right?" Gina asked, tears still continuously flowing down her face. Nini nodded sadly "and I clearly remember that it was around that time that you started to cancel on me, and stopped hanging out with me. You always chose him over me. And as long as you two are a thing you always will, so no nina. I don't want to be friends with you anymore."

"That's not—"

"When are you gonna get it through that thick scull of yours that I can't forgive you for this! Either of you. I'm done with you as a friend and I'm done with him as a brother" Gina said before making her way to the door.

"Come on Gi, you don't mean that" Ricky said and they heard the door slam immediately after.

Gina started her car and made her way to Ej's house. She needed someone right now and she knew ej would always be there for her.

After Gina left Nini crouched into a ball and started sobbing. Things weren't supposed to go like this. This wasn't how Gina was supposed to find out.

Not long after she started to cry, Ricky bent down to her level and started to rub her back comfortably.

"Everything will be okay Neens. She'll get over it eventually"

"You don't know that Ricky." She cried "I betrayed her. I lost her trust, and I don't know if I can ever get her back"

"I promise everything will be okay. It'll work out" Ricky said before placing a kiss on top of Nini's head. He lifted the girl up and carried her in his arms bridal style as she continued to cry on his shoulder.

He gently sat her down on his bed before joining her, and allowing him to hold him until she fell asleep in his arms.

He couldn't help but feel responsible for this.
