"Nini I don't know what you're talking about-let me see that" Ricky squinted taking the phone from nini's hands. He read over the text messages, and his face turned from calm to confused. "Wait—so you think I did this?"

"Who else Ricky?"

"Nini what reason do I have for doing this? Please let me know, who would I be texting you to stay away from and why would I do it anonymously?"

"Okay well it was probably one of those girls you've been sneaking in and out this house! Gina told me Ricky. If you intended to play me then why even get into a relationship with me?"

"That's why you're upset?" Ricky asked and Nini avoided his gaze giving him her answer. "Did Gina forget to mention that they left like 2 minutes after they came? They left a few things in my room from the last time they were here, way before we were together. They just came to pick them up. That's all Nini"

"Really?" Nini asked and Ricky nodded pulling the girl into a hug

"Why didn't you just talk to me about it Neens. A lot of hurt on both ends would've been avoided with a little communication."

"I-I don't know. When Gina told me that it hurt so much that I didn't even want to see you."

"I promise you have nothing to worry about. I'd never cheat on you"

He kissed the top of her head she she smiled softly enjoying the warmth of the boys arms. She missed his touch so much.

"Wait a minute" Ricky said pulling out of the hug "why'd you assume I sent the text? Who were you with?"

"Oh uh do you remember I told you that I've been trying to find a job?" Nini asked and Ricky nodded "well I met up with Andrew today to see if he could help me get a job at Starbucks"

"Oh" Ricky said trying to keep his jealousy under control. They had just made up and he didn't want to make the situation worse "and what'd he say?"

"He said that he'd try to see what he could do. He's going to put a good word in with his manager"

"That's great news babe" Ricky smiled "how about a celebration kiss" Ricky smirked

"Eh. No thanks"

"Come on Neens. I haven't had a kiss in forever! You're starving me" Ricky whined and Nini laughed

"Okay fine come here" Nini said as she held Ricky's  face and leaned in to kiss him. Right when their lips were brushing against each other she turned her head making Ricky kiss her cheek

"That was mean" Ricky pouted, and Nini was laughing uncontrollably

"I'm sorry bubs, come here for real this time" she laughed

"No, I don't want it anymore"Ricky crossed his arms whining like a child

"Bubssss" Nini dragged out

"Nope"

"Please" she said holding his face in her hands. He sighed rolling his eyes and placed a small kiss on the girls lips.

"I wanna take you out on a date" Ricky beamed

"But how—"

"Don't worry about all that. Just meet me at the park around 8 and I'll take care of all the details" Ricky told the girl softly and she nodded

"Anything specific I should wear?"

"Something you're comfortable in" he told her and Nini looked at the time

"What time does Gina's dance practice end?"

"Umm around 7 why?"

"Because I parked out front! I gotta go before she comes back" Nini exclaimed grabbing her things

"Can I come over? I miss falling asleep with you by my side" Ricky begged and Nini laughed

"Yeah, you can come. Does Gina never wonder where you are when you're at my house?" Nini asked

"I'm sure she does but she never asks me about it. She probably thinks I'm out with some random girl" he laughed and Nini joined him happy that she could laugh about this now.

"Alright I'll see you there?"

"Yup" Ricky smiled before the two gave each other a kiss and headed out the door to their separate cars.

"What are you doing down here?" Ricky said coming behind Nini resting his chin on her shoulder and wrapping his arms around her waist

"I'm cooking us breakfast duh" she giggled as she continued to scramble the eggs.

"So this is what it would be like living with you" he kissed her cheek

"Eh. When I feel like it" she said

"So what exactly are you making?" Well in making eggs now, there's sausage in the oven and there's so pancake mix over there so I'll make them after I finish the eggs."

"Where have you been my whole life?"

"Being best friends with your sister" Nini laughed "where does she think you are anyway?"

"I don't know. She never asks me of my whereabouts" Ricky said before a knock was heard on the front door.

"Keep scrambling these eggs for me, I gotta go answer the door" Nini said placing a small kiss on Ricky's lips before going to answer the door.

Ricky took the spatula in his hands and started to move the eggs around the pan.

Nini opened the door and was shocked to be met with her best friend

"Oh Gina! Hey! What are you doing here?" Nini said loud enough for Ricky to here. He quickly poured the eggs onto a plate and his inside the pantry.

"I just thought we could ride to school together. Then I saw Ricky's car outside and I got confused" she laughed

"Oh um I'm nowhere near ready to leave. I got so caught up in cooking breakfast I lost track of time" Nini laughed

"Oh well okay" gina turned around to walk away and Nini let out a breath of relief "but why is Ricky's car outside?"

"Oh! He dropped his car off here because he didn't want pay to park downtown. He should be back any minute now" Nini said the first thing that came to mind.

"Oh ok" Gina said hesitantly turning around

"I'll see you at school Gi"

"Yeah I'll see you at school"
