"Do you even know where he's taking you?" Gina asked as she looked through Nini's closet to find the girl something to wear for her date

"I think he said the movies" Nini said as she dried her hair with a towel. "Oh and I think he said something about dinner afterwards"

"Dinner and a movie. That's a classic" Gina said continuing to look through Nini's closet

"Yeah, I don't know,I'm kind of excited. Jeremy seems like a really nice guy"

"Jeremy is a sweetheart. He's been friends with Ricky for a while now and he's always been so sweet to me" Gina said as she pulled out a white mesh long sleeve top "ouu this is cute, and you can wear a tube top underneath"

"Wait, that is cute. I didn't even know I had it"Nini laughed

"And that's why I'm here" Gina smiled as she set the top on her bed, and paired it with a pair of ripped blue jeans.

"Honestly, I probably would've just worn a dress if you weren't here" Nini laughed. She knows that if Gina wasn't there with her she definitely would've overthought everything and worn a dress on the date

"To the movies?" Gina asked and Nini nodded with a laugh "what would you do without me" Gina sighed jokingly

"I have no idea"

"Now go! Try on the outfit!" Gina exclaimed and Nini grabbed the outfit that Gina set on the bed for her, and headed in the bathroom to try it on.

When Nini stepped out the bathroom Gina's jaw dropped and she wiped the imaginary tears from her face.

"My child is growing up"

"Shut uppp" Nini laughed at her best friend's antics

"No really, you look amazing Ni. Now sit down, I'm gonna do your hair" Gina said picking up the flat iron preparing to throw curls into Nini's hair. It was nearing 6, meaning Jeremy should be there to pick her up soon.

"Gi I need some type of SOS in case the date is going bad. I mean I hope it won't but you can never be too safe right?"

"Okay, if it's going bad you can text me the red heart emoji" gina said, and Nini was about to nod until she remembered that gina had a hot flat iron to her head

"Perfect" Nini smiled

"Anddd you're done" gina said and Nini got up looking at herself in the mirror. "You don't think it's too much?" She asked

"No, you look beautiful Nini. Jeremy is gonna be blown away" Gina came behind me and rested her chin on Nini's shoulder as they both looked at my appearance in the mirror.

The doorbell rang catching both their attention

"Well, it looks like he's here" Gina squealed

"Alright then" Nini took a deep breath before heading down the stairs with Gina following right behind her "hi Jeremy" Nini smiled "you know Gina right?"

"Uh yeah, hey Gina" Jeremy smiled

"Hi Jeremy. I was just heading out" Gina said, and as she was about to walk past them she turned around "you two have fun on your date. Don't do anything I wouldn't do, and Jeremy if you hurt my best friend I'll respectfully kill you" Gina smiled before walking off and starting up her car to head home

"Should I be scared orrr?" Jeremy asked with a slight chuckle

"Oh you should be very scared" Nini laughed and Jeremy's eyes went wide "kidding, I'm just kidding" Nini said and Jeremy laughed along with her.
