"Nini?" Gina said looking at her best friend in confusion "why were you in Ricky's room?" She laughed lightly somewhat to cover up her nerves.
Part of her knew that Nini wouldn't betray her and break the promise that she made to her years ago, but part of her knew her step brother.
She knew the effect Ricky had on people especially girls. She just hoped that she was overthinking everything.
Ricky was somehow able to win over every girl that he wanted. He has all of them in the snap of a finger. All except Nini. Nini was all that Gina had. The only girl she knew that wouldn't be her best friend strictly because of Ricky.
Gina just didn't know what she would do if Ricky somehow managed to get Nini too.
Nini's eyes immediately widened at the sight of Gina. Her heart rate that had fallen immediately rose at the sight of her best friend.
She had to think on her feet. She couldn't seem suspicious and Gina couldn't find out what just happened between her and Ricky in his room.
To say Gina would be upset if she knew the truth is an understatement. Nini knew that the girl probably would never want to talk to Nini again if she found out.
"Oh I was just uh I was looking for you" Nini said hoping it was convincing enough
"In Ricky's room?" Gina chuckled
"Yeah I didn't see you anywhere else"
"Well we must've been missing each other because I've been looking for you" Gina laughed
"Yeah" Nini chuckled awkwardly "can you take my pictures" Nini said desperately trying to change the subject at hand
"Uh, sure" Gina said before Nini grabbed her arm pulling her outside to take a few pictures of her.
As Nini was taking her pictures she noticed Ricky came outside immediately greeted with a girl who was about 5'2, and had long curly hair.
Ricky smiled at the girl before placing his arm over her shoulders and walking to a secluded area with her.
Nini shook her head in attempt to move past what she just saw. She knew that whatever just happened between her and Ricky probably meant nothing to him and it wasn't a big deal.
At least to him it wasn't.
After Gina finished taking Nini's pictures she handed Nini her phone back, and Nini scrolled through her pictures trying to decide which ones she wanted to post
"Stay right here, I'll be back. I'm just gonna go get something to eat" Gina said before heading inside
"Okay" Nini smiled sitting down on the nearest chair
As Nini scrolled through her pictures a notification appeared on her phone
