"She can't be serious" Gina sighed "Nini you have to remember us. You have to" she said, clearly in distress. There was no way Nini could've forgotten her.

Nini looked at the girl apologetically "I'm sorry"
"Come on Nini. Try to think" Gina pushed "I'm your best friend"
"I'm sorry but I don't remember you" Nini said apologetically
"Nini try to think really hard. Im Gina your best friend and this is Ricky your...b-b-boyfriend. How do you not remember?" Gina said clearly stressed. Nini simply shook her head letting her know that she doesn't remember any of that.
"Gi. Nini is under a lot of stress right now. The last thing she needs is us pushing her to remember something that just isn't coming to mind right now" Ricky told his sister.
"But how am I supposed to act like everything is normal. She doesn't remember me. She doesn't remember us"
"Yeah and you being upset about it isn't going to do her any favours Gi. It won't do you any either "
"I am upset though Ricky. Someone hurt my best friend and they're still out there. I can't just pretend that this isn't happening to us right now"
"I know, and I'm angry about it too. Trust me. I won't stop looking until we find who's responsible for this but right now Nini needs us more than ever."
"Hello, still here and trying to figure out who you two strangers are, and why my head feels like I've been run over by a truck" Nini said interrupting the two's conversation
"That's because you kinda were" Gina mumbled
"Right uh Gi why don't you go get the doctor. Let them know that Nini is awake and take some time for yourself" Ricky suggested and Gina headed towards the door
"Thanks Ricky. For being so strong through all this" Gina said and Ricky smiled at her nodding.
"Everything's gonna be okay" Ricky whispered before placing a kiss on Nini's forehead. He needed to convince himself that the words he said were true.
Things probably will never go back to the way they were before, but he truly hoped that things would be okay. That all of them would be able to be happy.
"Again. Who are you ?" Nini said
"I know you probably don't remember but I'm your boyfriend. I've been by your side this entire time and I'm just glad that you're awake"
"Oh well thank you" she smiled at him "maybe one day I'll remember you"
"I hope so" Ricky smiled

"Has she remembered anything?" Gina asked as she entered the room. She took some time for herself to clear her head. The state that she was in when Nini woke up wasn't good for the girl's recovery at all.
"You know, Rina I'm right here. You can ask me." Nini said
"And that just answered my question" Gina sighed
"The doctors came in and checked her vitals. They said they were all good, but they're gonna come back to do full check. Hopefully they can tell us how long it'll be gone" Ricky told the girl
"Knock knock" Andrew knocked on the hospital room door "How you doing?" He asked giving the girl a teddy bear and a bouquet of flowers that he bought her.
"Awwnn. Thank you cutie. I'm doing pretty good." Nini said as she sniffed the flowers "Are you sure he's not my boyfriend because he's really cute" Nini whispered to Gina
"Nini!"
"What? Look at him and tell me he isn't cute"
"Umm I'm standing right here" Andrew said awkwardly
"Oh, sorry about that" Nini said "So how exactly do I know you?"
"Umm it's kinda a long story--"
"Why are you here?" Ricky said sternly clearly irritated. It was bad enough that his girlfriend who he was madly in love with didn't remember hum, but she was basically flirting with Andrew right in front of Ricky. Ricky was getting fed up. He could only take so much.
"I came to check on Nini. All of us have been worried sick about her. The car just came out of nowhere. None of us could've seen this coming."
"Why didn't any of you come earlier? She's been here for weeks. She's been here fighting for her life and now all of a sudden she wakes up and you come to see her"
"Why are you being so rude to me? You're questioning me like you're the FBI when all I wanted to do was come see my friend. But since you must know Sherlock, the work schedule has been crazy, I've barely had any time to myself"
"well if you--"
"ENOUGH" Nini raised her voice quieting the two "It was a prank alright? My memory is fine I remember all of you . Now will you stop fighting?"
"A prank? You nearly gave me a heart attack for a prank Nina?" Ricky said clearly irritated but also hurt. Nini knew he meant business when he used her real name
"Look Ricky I'm sorry I just, I wanted a clean start. Before the accident my life was a mess and the only good thing that I had in it was you. I figured that if I didn't have a memory maybe Gina would forgive me and things would go back to normal."
"Gina forgave you a long time ago Nina. You just don't know the stress that you put me under."
"I'm sorry Ricky" She said and a few tears left her eyes. She knew that he was upset because he kept calling her Nina. She didn't realize that all this had such an effect on her.
Ricky couldn't even stay mad at the girl, he had almost lost her and all he could think about was the fact that she was okay.
A ding from Nini's phone caught everyone off guard.

"It's them again" Nini looked at her friends worriedly
"Them? Who is them?"
"Someone has been blackmailing Nini. That's who hit her with the car. I've been trying to find out who it is bit all I've gotten is dead ends" Ricky told Andrew
"Let me see that" Andrew said and Nini gave him her phone, he clicked the number instantly recognizing it "I know who this is."
