(M/N) inhaled sharply, his hold on Suna tightened a fraction. He looked past the gun and into the eyes of a man who looked tired, ready to either die or kill anyone. But, there was a fire in his eyes, a glow like no other.
Like there was a bit of life in his pretty glowing gold eyes.
Something in (M/N) twisted at that, his lips pursing in a frown. So much for a man who lost so much more, who was (M/N) to waltz in and ruin it. He looked as if he accepted everything from his past.
(M/N) cleared his throat, "My boyfriend and I need a place for the night. We lost our tent due to the harsh winds of the snow, we'll leave tomorrow morning." He lied with ease.
The gun shifted, grazing (M/N)'s nose. (M/N) remained unyielding as there was a stare down. Suna was shivering from the cold, and when he shifted closer, his gold like eyes flickered to the taller man. Suna's nose was a bit red, so he buried it in (M/N)'s shoulder for warmth, not caring for the gun pointed at them. Suna knew (M/N) could get them out unscathed.
The man's gun lowered at the sight, they really did need some shelter. He let his gun swing by his side, opening his door wider and stepping to the side. They could see the fire across the snow cabin, and they could feel the warmth already before even making it inside.
"Thank you." (M/N) kindly said, giving a soft smile.
The man's eyes narrowed on (M/N), studying him, trying to get to know him without any further questions. The two slipped in, slipping off their snow boots to the side.
"Pardon the intrusion." They both said.
"Japanese?" The man asked, getting a nod from Suna as (M/N) was taking his giant coat. "Coats on the rack." He said.
"I'm Suna Rintarou and this is-"
"Akio Web." (M/N) cut him off, eyes on a spider web, so it wasn't the best fake name.
Suna gave him a look, this could've been (M/N)'s chance. Yet, the male didn't take it, he just looked at the man like he was some stranger. One not worth picking a second glance over.
"Ishinok Dexter." The man said, keeping his gun to his side. He wasn't a very trusting person.
(M/N) swallowed thickly, he knew... he knew it was his father, but hearing the name and confirming it made his heart ache. He should want to tell him. Should want to say 'Hi, my name is (L/N) (M/N). I know it's hard to take in, but I'm your son. I can prove it if needed.' But he didn't, because it didn't seem right. Not only that, (M/N) really didn't have a way to prove it, he was only with his father for almost five years of his laugh.
(M/N)'s breath hitched at the thought, he quickly looked away from Dexter's piercing gaze. His eyes on Suna, they softened and (M/N) relaxed. Nothing but love in his gaze. Suna had such an understanding look, he walked towards (M/N), kissing his forehead before giving a smile. Dexter glanced away for a moment, giving them somewhat of a private time.
"You two must be hungry." Dexter said, "I have a pork stew that's almost done cooking. I'll show you to your room, take a hot shower and relax. I'll call when dinner is ready."
With that, the two followed the older man to the guest room. It was decent sized, quaint and warm as well. The bed was a full bed, a few blankets in the corners of the bed, along with a quilt resting before the three different pillows. A bathroom connected to the bedroom, and it felt so... natural.
"Thank you." Suna said, smiling at Dexter.
Dexter nodded his head, glancing back at 'Web' who was slowly looking around. Eyes unfocused as he seemed in his own little world, but Dexter didn't say anything. He just left his room.
