From the first time Seowon first lied hands on Seonghwa, to the time fair, three months had passed. Seonghwa knew that his best friend would beat himself up over not knowing the pain he'd been through all this time.
"Hongjoong. It's not your fault. I'm the one who never said anything."
"Don't try to put the blame on yourself now. I should've been there for you. I knew something was weird that night you opened the door. You looked sad, Hwabun. I'm definitely a useless friend. I don't deserve someone as amazing as you."
Seonghwa slapped the other's shoulder. Even though he was being serious, the slap had no weight or pressure to it so Hongjoong couldn't hold in his laughter.
"Why are you always laughing at me! I'm being serious here..." Seonghwa nervously played with his hands as he felt Hongjoong's gaze trained on him. His heart sensed this too. Thump Thump Thump. His face sensed this as well because his cheeks tinted a light shade of pink.
"Are you blushing?"
"No. I most certainly am not."
"Let me see your pretty face then."
This trick seemed to work out as planned because Seonghwa's hands dropped from his face, his eyes widening. "Pretty face?"
"Mmh. Your blush is showing."
"Hongjoong!"
