Adam had roped Tim and Jenika into helping get boxes out of the attic. Cassie had everything neatly organized by holidays. It was probably the most organized attic he had ever seen. There were a lot of boxes to take down and it went quickly with the four of them. After all of the boxes were in the lobby, Cassie delegated rooms to each person that volunteered to help. Susie and Simon helped Cassie and Adam decorate the lobby and the outside. Austin, Oleana and some of the wait staff  helped decorate the dinning room. Chance and Sami took the gym. Tim and Jenika and some of the staff to do the big back yard and ballroom. Other staff members decorated the hallways. Everything was coming together. Adam was laughing as Cassie struggled with the fake cobwebs. Tangling herself in them. He took a picture with his phone before helping her. After everything was decorated, the large group was sitting at the bar having a drink when a young woman with long blue hair entered.

"Where's the lady of the house?" She yelled. Cassie squealed as she jumped up and ran to the young woman.

"Megan, you're early. It's great to have you home." Cassie pulled her daughter in for a big hug. She pulled her daughter over to the group at the bar.

"This must be her daughter. She is stunning," Sami had said. When they got a closer look at the younger woman, they could tell that Stephen had been false in his accusations. Those were definitely his eyes. Only difference was that her gaze was friendly instead of cold.

"So, I take it that dad left for his "vacation" a little early." Megan had never seen her mom smile so much. She figured that this group had something to do with it. She shook hands with everyone as introductions were made. The looks that Adam kept giving her mom didn't go unnoticed by her. As long as he was responsible for the happiness her mom was feeling, she was happy.  They sat around, getting to know Megan, who was actually old enough to drink. She was going to be 22 in December. Megan really liked these people. They were all funny and teased each other. She had actually never heard of them. When they offered to show her what they could do, minus Rob, her mouth dropped open. She looked over at her mom, who was just grinning. Cassie hadn't heard them live and she loved it. She love the song, Dive Bar Saints, which seemed appropriate since the were sitting in the bar.

"That was terrific. I'll have to look up your videos on YouTube. The place looks great, by the way, mom. I'm glad I was able to get here for Halloween. I've always loved the Halloween party here. I even remembered to bring a costume this time. So, which room is mine this time? I really don't want to stay in dad's suite."

"I have a suite on the second floor ready for you. Do you want me to take you there?"

"No, that's ok. I'm pretty sure that I know where it is. I'll get the key from Susie. I will probably head to the pool  afterwards. Want to go swimming with me soon?"

"Sure I'll go swimming. As long as you don't try to race me," Cassie said as she glanced at Chance, making him chuckle. Only Sami and Adam understood the inside joke. Everyone had said that they would go,too. The others hadn't been to the pool yet. Adam was hoping that someone else would challenge her for a race. It had been funny watching Chance get blown out of the water. Everyone separated and went to put on their swim suits.

Megan watched as Adam took her mom's hand. She wanted to have a private chat with him soon.

Adam and Cassie were talking about Megan as they got changed.

"Megan seems like a sweet young lady. Just like her momma. She takes after you more but she definitely has his eyes. I don't understand how he can't see that."
