"I have to return to my pack."
"You can't because they won't accept me and you have to take care of me." Skylar said firmly.
Calvin was irritated. He never agreed to become a parent to an orphaned vampire. He couldn't even protect his mate. His wolf was conflicted. Hector accepted the child and longed for a bond to something since he was now without a mate. But a child was a big responsibility and he knew next to nothing about vampires.
