CHAPTER 19
Cub Creek Territory...
Dropping her youngest son, Ruben, off at the pack's day care center, Tracy went to Jonathan's office to see him in person. They had been so busy lately that she rarely saw him.
"Hey baby doll. What's up?" He asked, without looking up.
"Just came by to see my husband."
Jonathan set the papers down and rubbed his eyes while gesturing for her to come over. Tracy sat on his lap, wrapped her arm around his shoulders, and slowly rubbed his neck. Jonathan sighed in relief as she worked away the tension.
"I'm sorry," he sighed. "Just been busy with all this paperwork in addition to preparing everything for the twins to take over. With Reilly being gone a lot I'm short staffed."
Tracy nodded. "Sunny and Dee are going to have to find a new Beta.
"They're going to have to settle on a Luna first." he grumbled.
A knock sounded at the door a moment before it was flung open and Skylar waltzed in followed by a hesitant Calvin. "Good morning." she said, climbing onto the plush chair in the corner of the office.
Jonathan hid a smile at the cute little girl who carried herself like royalty and everyone was a servant to her whims. Remi also entered followed by Lucy who shut the door behind them.
Lucy looked at Jonathan and Tracy curiously. "I was told that there was a meeting?
Jonathan's brows furrowed as he exchanged a puzzle look with Tracy.
"There is?" he asked.
Another knock sounded.
"Come in Uncle NyNy!" Skylar shouted.
The door opened and Night walked in followed by his father, Mido. "Any word about Asya?" he asked anxiously, looking at everyone hopefully.
"This meeting isn't about her. Have a seat and we'll begin soon." Skylar said.
With everyone seated, Skylar looked at Jonathan seated at his desk with Tracy still on his lap and cleared her throat, catching his attention. "Please let them know that He is to join us in your office for a meeting."
"Who?"
Remi and Skylar looked at each other before counting in unison.
"3, 2, 1."
The phone immediately rang and Jonathan removed it from its cradle.
"Sir there's a vampire here that wishes to see you and he's being persistent. Should we lock him up?"
"No. Send him to my office. We're waiting for him." Jonathan replied.
"Sorry Sir. We didn't know you were expecting someone. We'll bring him there straightaway."
"Thank you."

Lee had caught up with his brother and his family since he had returned. His brother had replaced their father as Head Tracker and word reached them quickly about a jailbreak. His offer to help was turned down immediately. Despite having the title, Lee's older brother felt slightly insecure since many people used to say that his younger sibling was a much better tracker.
Not wanting to be viewed as a rival, Lee stayed out of the way and went to help with Omega training with Jackson. While he didn't mind the work, teaching wasn't his calling. New recruits had no concept of stealth and having to explain that whispering counted as noise was simply frustrating.
