We exhaustedly hopped in the car from the park, and sped out to my house. Which Wajdan suggested because she wanted me to pack to their house.

We entered to meet Aunty Salma and Ammi seated in the living room engaged in their talk. We greeted them and joined their little meeting.

"Are you ladies done with the shopping?". Aunty Salma asked.

"Yes, but I will like to go tomorrow". Wajdan whimpered.

"Wajdan!!". We all said amazed. After shopping for 74 hours (lol but for hours), I thought she won't shop in centuries again.

"What?! I didn't get to buy some dresses, you were all nagging and you knew I liked them". She whined.

"Like it or not no more shopping because tomorrow is the Bridal shower". Lujaina declared.

"But I can...".

"Eh, eh there's nothing like Shopping on your sister's wedding day". Aunty Salma said.

"Mom!!".

"Ikhi, can I talk to you for a minute?". Ammi said standing.

I stood up and we left them Wajdan nagging. I kept wondering what could be more than that shopping she did, all in the name of Lujaina's dresses, perhaps Lujaina assured her she won't wear half of them.

We walked to the prayers chamber where we both sat on the prayer mats. Waiting for what Ammi would say that was so serious for us to leave the living room.

"Ikhbal", She started. I noticed that whenever she calls me Ikhbal not her usual 'Ikhi', it must be serious. "Ikhbal, I will like to ask you a question". She paused. "What will you do when you find yourself alone in this world?".

I scoffed. "I will never find myself alone, even if I don't have siblings, I will always have you and Abba and...".

"And hold your prayers Ikhbal". She cuts in. "I will like you to hold unto your prayers whatever you encounter in this erratic world, because its full of the unforeseen circumstances nobody can predict". She looked sternly at me, which startled me a bit, I don't know why she was saying that but she was serious.

She carried her Al_Qur'an (Muslim's holy book), "Do you know what will help you in this dunya (world)?". She asked and I shook my head. "This is your savior, you just have to hold unto it(Qur'an) and worship your creator, that is all you need to keep you going, and I will like you to never cage yourself in your own walls but believe in your strength and keep moving". She stated.

"Ammi, I don't know why you are saying all this? This is complicating".

"You should always be persistence". She hugged me. Okay this is getting more confusing. "Ahhabbaki habibti. I love you habibti", "Allah is with you". She added.

"Ahhabbaki aydan Ammi. I love you too Ammi". I released her and gave up the questions in my mind "Ammi I didn't see Raliya?". I asked instead.

"She went for her school registration this morning with your Abba".

"Ohh! Already, that is amazing".

"Yes, now go and pack your clothes, Wajdan said you are following them for some days".

"Ammi, why did you agreed to it?!".

"Because it is your cousin's wedding and you will have more fun there, now go".

"Alright, alright!" I stood to the door, turned and smiled at her.

"Girls! Did you noticed something back at the restaurant?". Wajdan asked bouncing on my bed. Maybe one day, the bed will shout for itself.
