Khalil's POV.
.....I slowly peeled my eyes open on the bed and when I turned my face, Ikhbal was sleeping peacefully looking beautiful than ever, she was definitely the most serene beautiful sleeper, though her hand have crossed her usual pillow mountain as this was five days after the wedding and I was fond of her pillows boundary.
I slowly stretched my hand across the pillow and brushed off some strands of her beautiful long hair. She was breathing lightly as I couldn't made myself withdrew my eyes from her angelic face. She stirred a bit and gently opened her eyes, looking into mine as her eyes widened and she shyly concealed her face with the pillow.
"Good morning beautiful!". I beamed, that was something about her I admired, her shy nature towards every bit of my compliments to her.
"Good morning!". She mumbled through the pillow.
"Morning, can I at least see your face?". I asked.
"I look horrible in the mornings". She clutched the pillow.
I sat down this time closer to her, gently trying to snatch the pillow. "You are always beautiful habibti". And when she released the pillow a bit, I snatched it and brushed off her hair from her face whilst she looked at me stunned. "That's more like it!". I beamed.
She opened her mouth to talk but closed it, as we were both lost in each others eyes. My phone ringtone echoed and I just ignored it. "I think you should take that". She said standing and I swiftly held her hand while she loosed balance to my lap. "Khalil!". She whispered.
I placed my finger to her lips. "You are beautiful!". I whispered back and the phone chose the exact time to ring again.
She swiftly stood up. "You should really take it!". She smiled and entered the bathroom.
I checked my phone to my manager 'Hakim'. "Why are you calling me this morning?!".
He sighed. "My morning is great, you are supposed to be in the office today sir".
"I know, I'm coming later, just scheduled my meetings to afternoon".
"Alright see you Mr_groom". He teased and hung up.
I sat back on the bed, checked my emails, sending back and receiving when I heard a creak sound and Ikhbal dressed up in a lilac Ankara strode out with her hair a tad bit wet, she walked to the vanity not glancing at me, sat down and started drying her hair, after blowing off her hair, styled it, she engaged herself with her make_up kit.
I strode to where she was seated and stood behind her, she was engaged with searching into her make_up kit, not acknowledging my presence. I swiftly turned her seat to face me, and she raised her head looking at me stunned.
"You look stunning!". Whilst she blushed.
I cracked a smile. "Are you wearing make_up for me?".
She creased her eyebrow, stifling a smile. "No I'm not!".
I raised my eyebrows. "Is that so?". Whilst she folded her arms and shrugged. "Really?". I asked again lowering my face closer to her face and she swiveled her eyes right into mine.
"Khalil..". She whispered unable to continue.
I lowered my face inches to her face, and she stiffened motionless. I kissed her forehead and stood upright, while she looked at me stunned, her face heating up. I smirked and strode into the bathroom to take my bath.

I strode out of the closet, dressed in a white Kaftan as it was Friday, hence it was Sunnah (Prophet's teachings), to dress nice on Fridays. I walked into the room meeting Ikhbal also entering the room. "Breakfast is ready, and.. You look nice!". She complimented.
"Thank you". I beamed.
I followed behind her to the dining room, where palatable feast was on the table and I sat down while she sat adjacent to me, pouring a coffee, perhaps I realised our first common thing was loving coffee as she was also a coffee lover. We quietly ate our food whilst I complimented on every bite of the delicious food, albeit there was a maid and cook but she preferred to cook herself.
"I'm also returning to work tomorrow InshaAllah". She said after we finished eating.
"Okay, your chauffeur will take care of driving you to work". I said.
She shook her head. "No, I can drive myself".
I intend to argue but I let go because I didn't want to be persuasive on her. "Alright I'm going now". I walked to the door whilst she tailed behind me.
"Drive safely, may Allah bless your work". She prayed.
"Ameen". I beamed and turned looking into her eyes. I hesitated, "I love you habibti!". I said quietly whilst she quickly lowered her head not daring to look up at me. I smiled, walked to my car and hopped in. I ignited the engine, looked at her as she beamed waving, I waved back and sped out of the house.
"Sir, can you check this files". My secretary said entering my office. He kept the files. "And the Daura Company wants to hold a meeting with you".
I looked at him questionably and he shrugged. "Alright, schedule it in the afternoon". He nodded and walked out.
After awhile of working, I walked out of my office to the Conference room, meeting Aisha's Father seated alone which earned a dubious stance in me.
"Good day sir". I greeted and sat opposite him.
"I disagree with the formalities, by the way, I came with a contract for an architectural design of a certain Burj in Dubai and I knew not of any best architectural company than your own, so I induce to you". He stated.
I thought of why he still stood on being my abetment even after neglecting marrying his daughter. "You have my greatest gratefulness but I can't take your offer, besides I'm not certain why you are still supporting my company, even when I didn't accept your proffer of marrying A'isha".
He laughed. "Well, that is true, but you are like a son to me Khalil, and marrying my daughter or not wouldn't change the label that we are Family Friends, so all I aimed myself is to see you prosper, not only must I have a reason".
I nodded. "Well, I will tend to accepting it, if I give it a thought".
"Sure, whatever you say". He smiled and stood up. "I'm just going to the mosque, if you will join me".
"Sure". I stood up and sauntered behind him.
We headed to the parking lot, drove to the central mosque and after praying Friday Prayer, I said my Sallam to him and was walking out of the mosque to my car when I heard someone calling out 'Mr' behind me. I turned to the man walking towards me and he gestured his hand to me, holding a phone.
"You left your phone". He halted and I searched my empty pockets which indicated that it was my phone.
"Thank you so much, it must've slipped out of my pocket". I collected the phone whilst the man smiled with a glimpse of familiarity and turned to walk away. "Wait!". He halted and turned. "You look really familiar, did I know you somewhere?". I asked.
He smiled. "Yeah I thought so too, you must be... Khalil". Whilst I looked at him at how he knew my name. "I'm Sadiq".
